Wow.. This game blew my expectations far beyond what I thought was possible. I enjoyed the first one, but never got 100% into it. Red Dead Redemption 2 on the other hand drew me in from the very beginning and never let go. Game of year for me in 2018. Yes, even over God of War.

Imagine the epic stories of outlaws in the real wild west we don't even know about. There could've been people who experienced exactly what Arthur did, but in real life, but we may never know of it. Gangs that were family's, fell apart and died off. History is a well of unknown and lost knowledge
That's a wondrous and poetic way to look at things, in a world who lost much of its wonder.
EDIT: I just realized how much this is fitting, talking about Red Dead Redemption 2.
The town/city I used to live in was built back in the 1870s it was one of those towns that was owned by a bank that got a slice of every profit that honest people worked hard for then one day a gang/caravan rode into town asked the locals about the situation then they robbed the bank and whatever money/gold coins they found, they distributed it amongst the town folk equally and fairly then they left the town heading back out west. there were both good and bad outlaws the only thing that matters at the end of it all is how you want to be remembered, a ruthless killer and robber or a hero that helped those in need.

My great great great grandfather was an outlaw who died in 1912. He was a killer and an escaped fugitive from texas, He managed to redeem himself taking up the plight of men working at a lumbering in Louisana. He resisted the lumber barons and the pinkertons who were oppressing the workers. He was in a famous shootout called the grabow riot. 63 men were indicted by the judge, only 62 of them would be locked up. He was killed ambushing a posse of deputies who tried to take him some later on. They burried him facedown in shackles in an unmarked grave.

What about me? My first Ps game was Gta 5 in 2014 and it became one of my favorites. But I recently played RDR2, and I got fascinated with the story, which I think is miles better than Gta 5’s.
I didn't feel nearly as emotional playing gta5 as I did playing rdr2

This cover isn't on iTunes and Spotify etc yet because the soundtrack hasn't been officially released yet, and this means I can't get a license for the song. So we will just have to wait patiently until Rockstar decides to finally release the OST.
I didn't like it at start, but now I've fell in love with the song

Having checked iTunes and Spotify for this on the daily, I was headed here to ask.
Hope it comes around soon enough, because this cover (along with Unshaken) are my go to Red Dead songs now.

@@62squad To be fair, RDR's multiplayer has always been nowhere near the caliber of GTA's. With RDR1, just like RDR2, the single player is great but the multiplayer stinks.

Once again, you have proven yourself the master of metal covers. The vibe, the guitar tones, the production, the vocals, everything about this song just works perfectly. I also love the cool old film overlay in the video, excellent production value trick.
