Admittedly I watch a lot of videos to learn different songs and solos just to make it easier than trying to work them all out and I got a Telya man your video here is one of the best ever it’s very concise and gets to the point and doesn’t waste a bunch of time doing the same thing over and over again all we need is just someone to show it to us very quickly not a microscope so thank you so much for producing it in that way to make it a quick study thank you thank you subscribed
Nicely done. The combination of the tremolo and the second guitar make it pretty hard to discern some of the subtle differences in the F#m7 -> B vamp in the verse.
Ok. Great lesson and thank you. Your insight to use the F# Dorian scale was great. However, you made one slight theoretical mistake. Guitar 2 is NOT playing an A to B chord. He is playing the Fm7 partial (5th string root) chord at the 10rh feet to B (D shaped at 12rh fret). Makes sense because both guitars are playing the SAME chords but in different positions with different voicings. (Technically, you were correct because the F#m7 has pretty much the same notes as A major except the root). But as STING poingnantly once said, "NO ONE NAMES THE FUCKING CHORD UNTIL YOU HEAR WHAT NOTE THE BASS GUITAR IS PLAYING!).". Lol
