  • In this video we reassemble the heads, lap the valve seats, and continue bolting up the rest of the 318 on our friend Ed’s all Original 1971 Dodge Challenger. This beauty has 95,000 original miles. The Challenger made its way into Joe’s Garage for some freshening up for driving reliability. The aim is to retain as much originality as possible while ensuring it will be a reliable driver to car shows, trips, and weekend cruises.

318's are tough to beat! They are everywhere, cheap and can make decent power. Like the channel. I have a cuda build on my channel.
