Congratulations! They certainly won the race! Next time maybe they can slow it down and enjoy it. My favorite performances are at less than half the speed. Rush through music: rush through life.
The problem is not how fast one can be. I think that the point is the blessed "cantabilità" that is extremely important for all Baroque Italian music and Vivaldi in particular, This Winter is played with much skill by Sophie Mutter but there is more Ignaz Biber than Vivaldi in it.
I think they need a conductor, or agree the idea of tempo between all of them. There are two or three different tempos, almost is the concertino tempo fighting the rest. There are no place to breathe. I like the energy, I like the sound, against of the slow version but they have gone a little bit too far and they don´t respect the tempo all the time... near to this tempo, personally I would like a little bit less, I would like to listen from them another performance, breathing and respecting all of them the tempo. there are many moments that i feel that they are going together and I was enjoyin. Try again!, next time can be perfect!
Wonderful, just simply wonderful execution of this astonisching masterpiece from the MASTER ANTONIO.
Thanks!!
Excellent performance💓💓💓💓.Bravo !!!
0:15 Congrats to the woman for being able to follow the first soloist
Prachtig ! Waarom niet zo beluisterd?
Prachtig decor!
Perfecte opname!
Viva Vivaldi !!
Wonderful!
It's honour to the memory of the teacher - the man tells it in the 9-th minute

за труды спасибо! однако темп как будто ускоренный.

Cá estou eu a impor-lhe mais Vivaldi
que muito aprecio,o grande vigor que
é imposto aos Instrumentistas.
I do not understand Russian. Why did all the audience stand up at the end??

Спасибо. Но ускорения, особенно в самом конце мне лично не понравились и в общем слишком быстрый темп
Очень хорошо, но с темпом чуть преувеличили
the only thing I liked was the beautiful blond in the second violins....and she played well !
There were no blond violinists in the second violins, there were two in first violins though.
Ivo Gradev yes, first violins, that doesn’t change my point of view ;-)

It is in a traditional baroque style, the harpsichord is conducting.
too fast, i dont like it
you cannot be "serious" if you play like that....
só existem primeiros e segundos violinos nessa p* de vídeo? E as violas, os cellos, o baixo? Nota zero pra quem gravou isso. :/
Too fast. It’s not a race
