I'm loving all these colors. I was trying to decide whether to get the Arteza fineliners or the Staedtler triplus. This video confirmed Arteza. The colors are gorgeous. Thank you for all the swatches! BTW, all your favorite colors are mine also--all those shades of greens, blues, and purples are why I love Arteza so much :) The whole palette seems to get away from primary colors, I think that's why I like it so much.
So I decided to just watch with you and I guess that was a mistake because my set has all the same colors but they're not in the same order as your Swatch chart. But my set of pens are in order as my box so that was good! Can't wait to do my cross stitch method with them! 💜
Micheline Lavoie they are awesome. I just colored a Halloween color by number picture that was all little squares and they worked great. If you do order them, remember to use the link in the description along with the discount code so you get the 10% off.
Krys Taylor they would work perfect for that. If you do end up ordering them, remember to use the link in the description along with the discount code so you get the 10% off. 😊
Dana, I have had Staedtler Triplus fineliners for a long time and really LOVE them. I like Arteza too. I do not remember the costs of either except that they were similar
Dana Canarick I also like both the Staedtler and Arteza fineliners. But I love the variety of colors in this set of 72. And I feel they’re a little juicier than my Staedtlers as well as the Stabilos.
Dana Canarick well the Arteza Inkonic fineliners are actually quite a bit cheaper on their site than on amazon. They are around $25 for the set of 72. Plus if you use my link, you get an additional 10% discount off that. The Staedtler fineliners are around $25 for a set of 42 (their largest set). And the Stabilo fineliners are around $30 for a set of 40.
I wish the set I bought earlier this summer had been as juicy and vibrant. I have terrible luck with Arteza products :( Thanks for sharing. Please do update us if you try them in a detailed color by number book.
Melinda S I just finished a Halloween picture color by number with them. They were all little squares and they worked perfect. I’ll be showing it at the end of the month with my completed pages.
Melinda S these work so much better than their original fineliners. I had those too and wasn’t a fan so I had included them in a giveaway quite awhile ago.
These fineliners are really nice, Lisa, I hope that’s not a stupid question, but what exactly are they used for? Especially this many colors. Well I’m saying this because I don’t draw at all unfortunately. I mean I have black fineliners to use with markers, for accents or some special doodling? Or you actually color with them very small areas? Are they alcohol based? Certainly they are nice and the colors too
Judith F I use them for coloring. They work great for finer areas. I just finished a Halloween color by number picture that was all these little squares and they worked perfect. Some people also use them for regular journaling and also bible journaling. They are waterbased so they don’t bleed through the paper like alcohol would.
Lisa’s Coloring Corner I’m curious would these fineliners work with the Copics, if you find similar colors,to color details? Since they are water based?
Hi Judith, I use mine to outline in a coloring book and then color in with a colored pencil. I will outline with a darker shade of the fineliner and then color in with a lighter shade of colored pencil.😊💖
I have the older version of the fineliners with absolutely no number or name on the pen or the tin. Super frustrating and I will definitely never be buying pens/markers again with no name/number. Think that is my biggest pet peeve now and not something I used to look for when reading product descriptions or reviews. Do you have any tips on the best way to swatch pens like this? I don’t even want to use them because I don’t want to spend time trying to figure out what to use or keep track of the colors I’m using while coloring (I like color by number books). I have a label maker so maybe use that? Just not sure if it will stay on the marker. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!! :)
I had their regular set of fineliners and didn’t really like them. These Inkonic pens are TONS better than those for some reason. Plus, yes, having the names and numbers in them is great! For any pen/marker set that I have that doesn’t have color names or numbers, I do take my label maker and just number them after I put them in the color order I want. After I put the label in, I then put a piece of tape around it to keep it on better.
Lisa’s Coloring Corner thank you! I used them over the weekend and I’ll probably keep using them for a while until I find something I like better. I ended up printing an extra swatch page and cut out the numbers and taped them to the sides. It works well enough. The smaller barrel is very uncomfortable for long use. I’m going to order the Super Tips to see if I like those better. I also have Bics/Sharpies that may be more comfortable because they are bigger.
Arteza has told me "Inkonic pens are a redesigned version of our fineliners. They are AP certified, numbered by color, and also contain new colors."
ColorHolic Barbara ok. Thank you.

These are still my favorite!!
Thank you for your video - I love watching all of yours. I have just ordered these :-)

I always swatch mine out in the color order that I like them in, starting with yellow, orange, red, etc.
This would be a great Christmas present for me
Thanks! Just got mine this evening!!!!
Water based or not...there is an amazing choice of color! I have been using Bics and always wanted more colors! You have raised my interest!

Lisa’s Coloring Corner o
Thanks for this video! I'm looking for fineliners for my coloring bible as well as a double sided coloring book that I have.
Krys Taylor they would work perfect for that. If you do end up ordering them, remember to use the link in the description along with the discount code so you get the 10% off. 😊
I got my 2 sets today! Yipee!!!!!
Enjoy!!!
I’m trying to decide what fineliners would be best when I do regular coloring between Arteza and Staedtler

@@BarbBColorReader are they around the same price range one one is more cheeper then the other

Judith F I haven’t tried that yet but I would think that would work great. Just make sure the COPIC ink is completely dry first.

Thank you for this video. I don’t particularly like water based pens. I wonder if they have alcohol pens?
Micheline Lavoie I don’t believe they have any alcohol fineliners. I wish they did.
The ONLY alcohol fineliners I know of that exist are Bic and Sharpie ultra fine marker sets
Love the pens....why not write the color of the pen in the empty space next to the swatch and write it in the matching color?
Sue Farrell I agree. The color name on the pen would be nice.
