The Shuttle Art markers are a great find. They also have sets of 48 and 60! Finally an expanded palette I can use in my Lisa Frank and other fine-detail coloring books. And way less expensive than Sharpies or Bic. It's about time they had some competition. Thank you for your review!

Soul Spark Design you’re welcome. Unfortunately the larger sets don’t come in ultrafine. Boo!

I'm very excited you found these. I'm always on the hunt for ultra-fine alcohol based ultra fine markers. I ran over to Amazon and ordered them. I never got the Amazon Basic ultra fine markers. When I found out they offered them, they were apparently not available. I missed the boat on those but hoping they'll return.

Marilyn May yah I noticed that they were no longer available. I hope too that they bring them back.

I just bought the 30 piece Cra-z-Art marker set you reviewed at Walmart self check out and had to have a Cashier confirm my age before the register would let me purchase them.

Marabu/graphics has up to 24 piece set of alcohol-based double-ended art markers or permanent markers it's a sharpie on one side a fine liner on the other it's absolutely legit

How do you tell if they are water or alchol base marker?
I have fallen in love with pebble chalks and want to work with water base mediums.
    TFS and great review. 💎🍁🍂

Kendra Iacouzze you can tell if they’re waterbased if they’re scratchier and is really streaky. If they’re alcohol based, they color much more smoothly and don’t pill the paper so easily. Hope this helps. Most fineliners that you can buy are all waterbased so these alcohol fineliners are hard to find.
