Great video again Luke. That Lorry park by Tesco's in Cirencester is now the Premier Inn on the roundabout. It was a 24hr truck stop called Greasy Joe's, had many a greasy burger there at 3am as all the clubbers used to meet there on the way home from the nightclubs. Lots of naughty extra curricular activities used to go on behind the lorries LOL. I also remember one night eating there and a rat walked right across my table. That place certainly had a reputation !
Mr Luke C I'm so happy to see you doing so well. Its great to see Swindon on the map ( I'm from Swindon) but now I live in Europe. I hope very soon to visit my hometown safe stay...
Another excellent video Luke, thanks for that! My son lives in Gloucestershire near Stroud so hope to see you about one day! Keep up the good work and keep Safe! 😀🚛
Fun fact: Cirencester is one of the towns Gloucester City had to play in while their ground was condemned. They had to be a secondary tenant with a team much lower than them on the pyramid.
Also luke. When you left the site in thamesmead and met the big roundabout. Should have taken the right turn as that takes you straight through to erith/ m25 you took the back rounds around the housing estates. The elevated roundabout you approached joins with the dual carriageway you should have entered hence is being quiet 😅
Shows how old i am,used to stop at that lorry park for many years ,in Cirencester, before the 419 was as it is now.I also noticed that the large Army barracks, airfield is no longer there.Wow.Keep up the good work Luke, enjoy the vlogs.Happily retired Ex trucker in Spain.
Lorry park has been gone since about the 90's... If I remember correctly there used to be a small cafe building on basically a large gravel car park. Welcome to Gloucestershire... From a Brockworth lad now living in Sweden.
Good luck for your move, we have had several holidays in Cirencester area and have always found it a nice place to visit. Thanks for another interesting video of your wanderings around the south. Do you ever get sent up North to Tyneside or Scotland?
Great video so far. Just had to jump in and say that the hair place you went past at 15.57 is where I get my hair cut. Small world. Loving the videos though and stay safe out there.
In my neck of the wood Luke. Ightam. When’s that lorry of yours being sign written. Could have missed you and not known it. Great video. All the best . Mick.
Our current yard is not in the Honda complex. Plus they have a five-year tenancy agreement in place. Admittedly a yard closer to Cirencester would benefit me

Hi Luke thanks for another banger ❤ but Luke please hurry and get another poppy air freshener for the left side of your truck as it’s so annoying there’s only one now 🙈my ocd is to blame 😂
I've had lots a of breccies from Greasy Joe's over the years, shame it went down hill and then under after his son took over and bumped prices up and changed the menu. BTW loving the channel Luke.
I had this on Friday one of our trucks broke down and i swapped trailers with the other driver and did his load as mine had a later time slot not a dicky bird out of them when i got there
Companies have to be very careful if they try to ban any non employee from their premises. If the ban was as a result of horseplay or dangerous occurrence then a proper complaints procedure must be followed without this they could find themselves on the end of a legal challenge. Besides Health and Safety regulations Companies cannot impose their policies upon outside people including contractors. Just had a blarney with Trucker UK who tried to claim its not illegal to drive with defective rearward viewing mirrors. What's your opinion ?
Not yet an HGV driver myself but my father is. He’d recommend getting some form of note written by an enforcement officer of some sort saying that the vehicle is safe to drive and the mirror is being replaced as soon as you are back in the yard. If that isn’t possible then I’m not sure what to say but I hope I’ve helped a bit.
@@cjatruckphotos I doubt they'd risk their credibility giving anyone a note just to break the law. They would most likely just cone your vehicle off and leave you to get it repaired or order you to follow a highways agency traffic officer into a safe place to stop until its fixed or recovered and issue a PG9 so you'd have to get it rechecked after it's fixed to get the PG9 prohibition lifted.
@@das5813 Oh i'm sure that some officers would, and some would make sure you are heading to the yard or garage to get it fixed etc, Id say a bity over kill for just a crack but mirrors are SO important to a lorry I can see why. I had my drivers side mirrors ruined by a passing gritter, 2hr wait for them to get replaced and when I got back was told by a manager that I should have driven to the garage, yes their are "rules" but should use common sence and since its the drivers side its fine you and look out the side window.....I decided not to argue the point to much lol!

It’s definitely how I said it. I May not technically live there yet but I’m there all the time. Everyone calls it how I said it, in fact for short, we call it Ciren. As in a police siren.

I was thinking the exact same thing when he joined the Dual carriageway😂
The lorry park in Cirencester used to be behind what's now the premier Inn, there was a cafe too to get food etc
TP yards can be real tight especially in summer when builders vans are parked all over the place.
Thank you Luke another great video Paul in Kent

When I lived there it was always called by the Roman name obviously over the years as people have moved in they are using the modern name
You called it Corinium? Yea. Everyone says it how I said it in the video. It’s often shortened to Ciren. (Like police siren)

Depends what you mean by defective, smashed and missing its a stop as soon as safe todo so and somebody will need to come out and repair

It’s not 2 hours…surely if you deliver at 12 they’re allowing an hour to tip and then they lunch 1 to 2?
