As a Vikings fan seeing KOC wearing the Bud Grant hat warms my heart.
I have written a book on all the great quarterbacks after thousands of hours of research. One of the premisses of the book is that coaches play the biggest role in the success of a team. I talk about 30-40% of the responsibility for winning and losing. That was 5 years ago and now, after watching 5 more years of football with that in mind I believe that it is even higher. Quarterbacks, who are wrongly given win and loss records, only carry about 5-6% of that responsibility. Pundits totally miss out on the fact that football is the ultimate team game.
