A TERRIBLE PPV! JCW Legends & Icons

  • JCW Legends & Icons will go down as one of the worst PPV's of all time, as bas as Heroes of Wrestling. This PPV took place in 2011 and had insane star power on the show. Mick Foley had his 2nd last match. Roddy Pipper had his final match. Rikishi, Raven, Rhyno, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Billy Gunn & X-Pac amongst others appeared on the show. Loads of familiar faces from WWE and WCW. Unfortunately most of the wrestlers booked on the show were in their 50's and 60's and the wrestlers could barely move. It created an extremely depressing show with nothing worth watching. Mick Foley on commentary was the only point and the whole show came off as someone trying to amuse themself. The Juggalows will not be proud of this one!

I miss Piper... I won a radio competition in England in 1992 when I was 7 and interviewed him on air and he had me sat on his knee and told me I reminded him of his son who he missed, there was my brother and another kid there who won the competition but he only really cared about me, I always wanted to meet him again and get another chance to meet him and maybe sign my photo but he passed away before I got the chance..... During 2011, Bob Backlund, IF given a decent opponent, could still put on a well made wrestling match (NOT a five star classic, but during 2011 he was still capable of putting on competent matches... IF given a decent opponent to work with). Unfortunately, by 2011, Ken Patera was NOT that type of opponent. Bob Backlund vs Ken Patera during 2011 is like Bob Backlund vs a giant cheese burger. Doesn't matter what skills Bob has, he can't properly wrestle a cheese burger with legs. LOL.

@Markyd123 - there was some storyline involing doubts about Vampiro alliance with Juggallo community. Originally it would be all clear at the next's night Bloodymania. But there's one more thing, the JWO vs. NAO match was initially planned to have X-PAC as a guest referee with Hall teaming up with Nash. This was changed due to Halls intake of drugs and alcohol through the entire weekend of Juggalllo's Gathering. P.S. This was Nash's last match on Indies between leaving TNA and coming back to WWE.

While they are exceptions to the rule, old men generally physically suck at everything. However, the issue is that most old men never realize this. How many times have you encounter an old guy that gave you an attitude or hard time. They think they are still physically young and able to move like a young person.

100% I lost count how many times I've gotten the "You know I used to be as big as you" from some random old guy. It's some weird old man flex, like I don't care dude. I'm not walking up to random old men trying to convince a complete stranger that I'm "tough" what's the point what they think🙄

I find it interesting how so many small-time or up-and-coming promotions think that, just featuring people from the 80s to 90s guarantees draws. granted, cashing in on nostalgia is a thing, and many of those guys were really big names back then, but when they're so rusty and barely mobile (to wrestling standards), it should make one wonder if it's really worth it. idk, I just think having the NWO won't cover up the uncaring crowd, direction problems or the very subpar Battle Royal. have legends on your show, sure, but maybe vet the ones that can still go if they're gonna wrestle?

The juggalos love pro wrestling. this show was a way for them to put on a show with guys they watched. On another note I met that ring announcer at a con, knew nothing about him and just talked to him randomly for like an hour. Really nice guy who loves wrestling.

Ive never been a juggalo myself. Although i was introduced to the song the Amazing Maze when i was 5 and its probably the reason i like rap music today lol. Ive always appreciated ICP because they're clearly wrestling fans. Sure they love terrible wrestling and they appreciate comedy in wrestling, but they've always been respectful. They paid all these guys and put on a show knowing damn well they weren't going to make money from it. Not my favorite music, not my favorite wrestlers. But i like them, they're wrestling fans and nice dudes 😅
