@abels121 The only "throw away" missions are Tunnel Rats and Hidden Valley. The rest are pretty good.
@abels121 For you lol. Silent Assassin 2 is remarked as one of the best, and many of its missions are timeless classics. If not, take a look a Basement Killing, St. Petersburg mission. It's the very same game that set the standard for the next installments, and many of its mechanics influenced Blood Money.

Well I'd say the fact he's repenting and feeling guilty is something the Father respects. Canon 47 isn't a crazed mass-murderer like how Kevin makes him out to be, most of his targets are bad people.
My headcanon is that agent 47 is Grognak's incompetent brother.
I mean, 47 is pretty competent, only not on Kevin's playthrough

I remember playing this game before I spoke english, my child self couldnt even enter the mansion on the first mission. Seeing Kevin struggle really brought me some memories.
Yeaaaahhh that’s so true, back in the day I couldn’t understand English as well. Luckily I knew some words but it was way to hard as an 9 year old. Somehow I made it to kirov park meeting, couldn’t figure it out from there anymore lol.
10 years later when I was 19 I played the game again while understanding English. Still very hard, but the most fun hitman game I played so far

I rarely like peoples content, because I like to use my liked videos tab to find videos to watch later, but your videos are great kevin, i want to like them just to help you, love the videos man keep it up
An interesting possible plot hole is the question of why Italian crime guys are grabbing a priest to hold for ransom. It's kind of against their code and they usually want good relations with the Pope (being in a dominantly catholic area and likely being catholic themselves). Maybe there's an elaborate story on a wiki or maybe this is just one of those things you're supposed to wave away as a typical movie plot/movie reference old hitman thing.
The two guys in the intro including Sergei the main villain of the game paid the mafia to snatch the priest to force 47 out of retirement.

I'm so glad the Hitman games evolved into what we have now. These early ones may have set the foundation for the new games, but damn do they look fecking annoying to play. There's like ZERO give. You walk slightly too fast, SHOT. You accidentially enter an unmarked restricted area, SHOT. You look at someone funny, SHOT.
Hell, I don't even understand what was wrong about the initial approach of disguising as the flower delivery guy, because HE just walked through the front like it was nothing, but when Kevin tried it, they opened fire as soon as he started walking towards the gate.
And then in the Russian level, he did literally nothing, and they start shooting. Unless it IS actually because he was running too fast, which would be the dumbest game mechanic.

1:36 Good thing 47 didn't tell the priest about how he committed the unforgivable sin of using his legs to move at a speed faster than a walk, not having both feet on the ground at the same time (in Christian theology, this is known as "running"). The priest probably would've opened fire had he known about that.
