Genuinely Tim, you’re the best meteorologist who presents in the world. Your forecasts are evidence based, objective, free of hyperbole, informative and interesting. As a Brit fascinated in hurricane season, you’re my go to for weather updates 👍
@@Krawna yeah I have wondered why! I guess it’s because we don’t have weather systems like this in the UK, plus it’s nice to have significant news which isn’t particularly partisan in nature
According to CP24 news, it is a strengthening as it heads north past New Brunswick. I have never seen a hurricane strengthen so much as it heads north.
Ran from Tampa Bay last time, when Irma hit in 2017, and we were supposed to get a direct hit. The storm went exactly where we ran to -- the Villages. Next time, I stay where I am, in St Pete.
@@NinaWassamatta absolutely it was a bad storm in 2017 let’s see where this goes this time. Clearwater has good protection for storms St. Pete not so much.
Petere poet Gulf of Mexico waters lot warmer when gain power winds if go into guft of Mexico can hit any where Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama or Florida
How convenient that GASTON just barely hits 65MPH winds to save face for the 2022 hurricane season that has been well below predictions. No one out there to dispute the wind speeds.
Fionna is a few thoushand miles north of the carribeian heading towards the Bemuda Islands. Would it be more to your liking if he suddenly said. But amazingly with in the last few minutes the catorgory 4 Hurricane Fiona has changed track and is rapidly approaching The Carribeian Islands after slamping across Cuba in just an hour? So start to run now. Get away from rivers as this monster is coming with more water than has ever been recorded? I think uyou can be sure that if there was a major Hurricane in the carribeian theen he would be talking about it. Yes primarily they do what they do due to their own relationships with Hurricanes which hit the USA. But they also cover a lot more than just USA coastal waters. It is their homeland so why not? It has to be as far as I am concerned acceptable that they are generally only looking about 10,000 miles around their area.
This man was born to do this.
The speech is just so effortless. So smooth.
The way he explains things with passion and clarity.

You can tell they are only focused on the US, barely seem to care about the Caribbean other than to give location.
