I've been struggling with kazuya techs in general and I'm at the level where I should probably learn them. I looked up a ferbs tech guide, watched this video, and then realized it was made only 2 weeks ago and was super surprised, then realized that you are the same guy that helped me learn to better wavedash 😂. Thanks for the amazing guides! They're really helpful and honestly the only good guides for kazuya techs and stuff

For anyone struggling with hitting a dgf on a no tech whether out of speed or getting a different attack, I’ve found that hitting down twice after the nair and then hitting the nair works out nicely, although I haven’t played kazuya or ssbu in ages
Pressing down twice often results in falling through plat sadly.
A few weeks ago Parz I also found myself looking for a ferps tech how to, so glad you are here to make my dreams come true

Hey, it exists now! It is also a great way to practice the tech so you can master it, the steps are very important.

I picked up kazuya after watching Riddles win recently and I was looking for this tech and couldnt find a guide. I can kind of put the pieces together just from watching someone else do it but there was no dedicated video, so thanks for this. You should make another video and go into the scenarios where this would be useful, what stages would be good for this, doing it frame perfectly starting with an ewgf under the platform, etc.

cuz sometimes I have problems with ferps on CERTAIN stages
like kalos
PS2 and other stages with a lil higher plats
Practice on those stages with the steps here and you’ll never miss again

Follow up question for you! Where should you land on the playform(is it DI dependent)
And also for when they don’t tech; is this the hardest timing to get and requires a lower jump to get to the platform sooner?

land in the middle if you can. rage will send them higher out of electric and give you more time to hit the ferps :D
I've learned that doing the Slingshot (Forward to down-back) before jumping really helps in getting the Ferps tech while carrying some forward momentum
My main issue right now is that I always end up buffering a down-air once I do land on the platform. What's the best way to avoid that?
Practice fast falling to the plat and just holding down and stay in crouch, get that consistent and it will solve your problem

One thing I struggle with is drag down nair into the filler (electric, down back, crouch jab, demon god fist)

@@ParzKazuya I use this for practice but my drag down nairs never seem to be able to combo into an electric and what not
I use the training mode mod and the CPU always parries my electric after my nairs
@@dechidechidechi Try Buffering the electric in the air, before you hit the ground :D
So how do you not fall through the platform even though you are holding down? I can’t figure out how to crouch on platforms.
The nair allows you to not fall through but go into a crouch if you hold down once you are at the peak of your jump. Should be easy to replicate, just make sure to nair and then fall to the plat. Only press and hold down once.

Hey, question! So i can do all of these steps but someone i never get on the platform fast enough…what’s the timing here? Like it feels like by the time i land on the platform my opponent has already gotten up or can even block

This is a great guide but how do you ferps tech to beat no tech>get up attack
If you do it fast enough the DGF can hit them when they are bouncing after a missed tech, i do it a lot in the montage on my channel if you want to see what I mean :D
Is this % based too cause sometimes I do it but they instead get launched instead of stunned? Also thanks for the guides, I’ve been trying to learn Kazuya ever since I first saw riddles and these videos are clutch!
If they get launched and not stunned you performed Wind god fist, and not Electric wind god fist. Rage will send them higher after electric
I meant with demon god fist. Like I do the ferns tech but when I do the demon god fist to stun them they instead get launched instead of crumpled
@@Dropbacks1 If they get launched it means they were in the air when DGF hit them, which causes them to just get the life punched out of them, but no crumple
@@ParzKazuya so am I doing it too early? I also feel like sometimes I may push them off the platform when I do the ferps tech into dgf which may also be causing them to be launched
@@Dropbacks1Yes sometimes they can be pushed off with kazuyas body but it isnt common. Other than that, make sure they are on the ground and dgf lands and you should be good :D

The thing I have trouble with is if I’m not directly under the platform how do I get on the platform to land ferps. Do I run under it first or directional jump in air to the platform?

Is "FERPS" abbreviated? What does it actually mean? I don't know the new lingo so much so hopefully someone can tell me this.
Ferps is one of the best Kazuya players. He founded the tech, and then named it after himself

Btw this guid helped me perfect this tech and it's a godlike tech to use, I've been practicing have the CPU character in training mode run away from me so I don't panic nearly as much if I were to play online with it, I do have trouble with his EWGF but other than that, thank you for this tutorial it's making me enjoy Kazuya the more in depth I get into his moves, it's also extremely rewarding to perform. Double Thumbs Up to you!
How do you not drop down through the platform after? And what do you go for after the demon god fist?

Turn off stick jump and put your tilts on your right stick and never go back.

really late but this is so you avoid hitting the enemy with the nair, and launching them away from your followups.
my question is why do you need to RAR when getting on the platform why not just double jump neutral air?
Because auto-turn around will cover a roll option
Do you need to IDJ when you double jump?
No! You want to delay you second jump and cancel it right after with a nair
