Is UNCRAFTING or GATHERING Better In SOULMASK? [EP5]

- In this COMPLETE SOULMASK Survival RPG video I see how good it is to go to Holy Ruins and farm out items to uncraft back at base or if its better to gather all the base materials to craft it yourself? We also moved base to the bottom of the waterfall.

tip for the dodging npc's: they walk left, right, strait. So you wait till they go strait with a great bow.
I never do uncrafting, could try it on higher gear tho.
P.s.: Yeah my frustration on npc behavior (friendly and enemy both) has increased as well.
We have 2 waterfall bases. One in the Rainforest and one in the Wetlands. If you want a layout or screen shots just ask. We've had zero issues with pathing, drowning, or anything really.
Early to Mid Game i usually mine a lot copper and tin to get at least 10k bronze ingots and 2k copper ingots as well just to never mine those things again , however with iron you can not avoid mining forever that . Now to be able to carry all that ore you need a llama, which is easy to get near Portal Hill and to get there you can evade enemies or bring help to explore while you advance towards the west
Yea I will definitely still need to grind out a lot
I think it looks really good. It also makes more sense. Up top seems like they were going to run down to mine, harv or log anyway.

I like the look of the new base. I've actually used the double doors and filled them in with fences in my first wooden base. In my pyramid I even had double doors with the door and fences in them to give it a different look too. Looks a big like a 2 block high double door :-) Oh and at my pyrmid location there was an elite alligator blocking me on one side and on the other side there is a tablet ... But only figured that out when build was almost complete. The other waterfall you mentioned actually has a nice big lake at the top of it which is a pretty build location IMHO. Might not be so conveniet to get wood thoughl.I tend to bring back all the drops myself, but never really noticed to get enojugh materials out of it. I do get some Mod thingies out of uncrafting.
It's one of those nice little tricks that just spice up a build a little

if you're afraid of doing too much damage, you can just put away your weapons and just hand-to-hand melee (punch). i've never one shotted even the lowest level scout, at body lvl 55, awareness str 51. in the worst case, i throw 3 punches and the game bugs or i'm afraid the last punch will kill him. then i just run out of leash range, let him heal and do it over again; i remember one i had to let the thing reset twice - other than that, never had to let a scout reset more than once.
I find myself 1 shotting with crits which annoy the crap outta me hahaha I wish I had the patience to reset
Uncrafting is good to get free Mods only, it will never replace grinding esential .materials especially those made by your high proficiency crafters(they could craft one to three extra items each time they craft something),however Uncrafting can be used to get extra materials but never the main way to get them
Yea is it the same for the higher tier weapons and armor do you know?
I farm ALL loot. Leave nothing left behind. Uncraft badly damaged gear. Makes it less things to craft in the future. I'm now at the point that I don't need my gatherers active because of how much material that I have. But I'm not far in the game. I'm still in the process of moving out of the rainforest.

And hit Z on items you don't want them to give up - it'll star the item and you can't take it without actually specifically taking the item...

It would be great to have a pet monkey to auto loot from a filtered list
Autoloot filtered list sounds like heaven to me
I uncraft just about everything. Made it to steel and just waiting to unlock un crafting 3 so that I can get all the steel gear uncrafted
Have you found that the mods that drop are higher tier at iron?
@@SovereignRPG I have not had any mods drop when uncrafting npc gear but the return on my gear is better with the higher lvl uncrafting bench
You dont have to wait for the uncrafter just back out when you set it off and it will run itself
Yea? It stopped when I tried that. Maybe I was imagining it.
@@SovereignRPG it worked for me. Might have been bugging out. Seems to be more bugs now than at launch imo
Yea recently I am getting so many bugs and random issues it's getting a little frustrating
how are you at 1200hp, map is barely uncovered but have lvl50 tribesmen, is there an XP farming video I dont know about?
There is a video I have where I set up the XP farm for the Tribesman using either Kilns or Furnaces :)
I think you can just leave the Uncrafting table and it will continue :)

Plunderers and Machines are weak to blunt damage, hammers and gauntlets work better on them also throwing a Corrosive Tank on them will lower their defense
Yes they are! But I just lost my gauntlet guy in the episode I just recorded will need to find a better one haha
Short version: Farming and deconstructing is absolutely worthless... You don't get all the parts (and some parts, you can't even get for deconstructing...)
What parts don't you get for deconstructing? Because just today I got atleast 1 of each part used to make the items. And mods
Imagine the game is set up to have max 1 folower. They are so bad. Useless trash. You bring them to a boss they are dead meat
Not gonna lie mate, the video was informative but you complain entirely to much. I am in no way trying to be a dick but it got rather irritating hearing the constant griping about things. EA game man, gotta just remember that and everything they have added to make it better.
Yea I even noticed that myself to be honest. Ill try not to let it get on top of me that much in the future
