- In this COMPLETE Soulmask Survival RPG video I try something a little different there was some issues with the sound so I decided to make the boss episode more like a cinematic storytelling experience. By showing the gathering and crafting in a story format rather than talking through the whole thing. He Kills ALL MY TRIBESMAN and we have to end up soloing him with our starter character! PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

I like it. Don't know if all your content will work but for boss fights it works for me
i say do both man! mix it up. i liked it; honest to god i've no doubt pissed off teammates by rp'ing once in a while. my favorite follower dies - "my tribesmen and I must take time and mourn our brother. we will begin the ceremony momentarily." My teammate - "yo man wtf are doing?? we've been waiting at the entrance".

It's a fun type of video. But i prefer the long format. This can be add like a extra, for epics moment's or special events. All the same great video and hope you get better tribesmen. And before going to next boss, probably train them a bit more. 😊

3:35 Giant Alpacas are not Llamas , they are just Tier Legendary Mounts, Llamas are another animal and the best mount to carry things in the game, you can find baby llamas around the Portal Hill , also before fighting any other Boss i highly recommend you to get the Mysterious Stone Table and its and its complement, with this you can revive your tribesmen that you previously registered on it. You will find this table and its complement in the Holy Ruins River Valley Dungeon, which is located inside a cave full of Plunderers near the River Valley Portal. The enemies there are weak against blunt damage and the corrosive tanks are useful against enemies with metal armor since corrosion decreases their defense (do not stack)
:D I was just explaining it as if I didnt know what either animal was. Was more of a story telling aspect than anything :)
And yea I should have definitely got the tablet first but I didnt think I would lose all 3 in the fight. Was a pretty big fail on my part.
Enjoyed it, it's a nice change of pace and good story telling !
I liked the new format but a combination of the two will be awesome.
I am thinking the same. Maybe do some storytelling with the grinding and crafting etc and the important bits like the fights and exploring dungeons etc can be done longer :D

Although rough on the edges, practice makes perfect! Keep at it. I can only laugh knowing the screams that happened behind the monitor when you unhid your interface and saw bags of loot instead of tribesmen HAHAHA!
My advice is that hiding and unhiding the interface has its time and place. Play normal gameplay during intense fights with UI active and you can only hid it during scenery footage or while mining or some generic stuff. But fighting and important bits and parts, do it as normal.

Nice, but also having the live commentary when your tribesmen die one after the other is also fun... and very relatable for me, since I tend to lose 2-3 each time I try a new area/boss :D

Haha I'm not looking forward to that tonight to be honest. But I have to replace the fighers aswell gonna go claw tribe hopefully get a few decent ones
@@SovereignRPG hahaha, I am planning to move my base between the claw and flint barracks of the jungle over the weekend... to have more options on fighters, as well as be close to the public teleporter between them.
it was entertaining but I miss the longer, more detailed approach. I use this series as a learning resource and the story element doesn't really scratch that itch for me

Oh yeah i dont mind either the long or short versions but if u did way more short videos and pumped out more of the short videos with small updates that would make for more episodes! i like the small update skips! sometimes during the long videos i could miss certain things u say. but either way i like them both! here for whichever u do

Started a 2nd playthrough at the same time. We just got through grinding out the bronze and sabre tooth. I think we'll take out the first ancient ruins dungeon (the one across the way from your old base) before hitting the Frog Boss. Maybe bring back the table and make some copies first. At minimum, taking archers and putting them on "Ranged" looks like an plausible alternative for the Frog Boss, but maybe not if they're too stupid to notice things like poison fog, or fat purple frog tongues licking the paint off their faces... They added an AI slider for the tribesmen, but somehow I don't think it makes them any smarter...they simply do the same stupid things a little quicker and with higher frequency...
Yea I am a little worried about the Tribesman AI it also seems like the enemy AI is far far better. The dodging, bandaging and everything is far superior on enemies

Not sure if it's true but it looks like it. I heard If you bring more people/tribesmen to the boss fights they scale up.
I enjoyed the story telling.
P.s.: Did you save the tribesmen to your mask?
I honestly feel like the frog was way harder this time than he was when I solo'd him. But also he kept resetting and his HP kept going back up over and over again. Like while we were fighting. He may have died way earlier if that didnt happen.
P.S No because I am a scrub...

What a nice fight! Btw how could you deploy more than one tribesmen follow you? I can only deploy one
It was a change in the most recent update. Only works on single player though, so if you play on an official server the limit is still one follower ^^
I understand why they have put the limit on Officials but I dont think having 2 at a time would be that big of an issue server wise.
a.i needs to be tweaked so the tribesmen dont just stand in the poison and die lol this happened to me too... rip tribesmen
Dude they died way to quick while downed and they werent even in the purple puddles. But you still get it from the tongue attack and the breath attack I guess
a real archer would be standing on a rock where they couldnt get hit
Wish there was more range on NPC archer attacks. They dont seem to be able to keep that much distance.
Should have done the dungeon first hit iron before frog old have made life easier
I really really should have. But wanted to try and do the bosses as we reach the Awareness Level no matter what tech stage we were at.

Thats very true but I think I may have gone off the deep end straight away. Maybe should have transitioned better and I will in the future episodes
You dont take tribeman to fight bosses... They are done solo
Yes they can be easily but the point of the series is to try and do it with NPCs. You can easily solo each boss.
A 9 min video? I must say I'm not fan of the narrating edited type video. You were the only Solo Soulmask creator who didn't do this :/ Also, to put a huge spoiler in the title makes it less interesting to watch the video, imo. I mean all this constructively. I liked the other videos. This one...not so much. Hate music in gameplay videos personally. I looked quite a lot before finding your videos without all that.
Thank you for letting me know. It won't be like this in the future. Maybe a little bit here and there but the older style videos will be back starting today
