Great video! There's one other Flint barracks in the South of the Mangrove area that has plenty of spots for crafters to spawn. With the crafting stations so close to the East entrance, it's likely the easiest spot for recruiting of tribespeople if you're willing to level them up from around 20.
I've been through the first camp multiple times but can never get to see the stats because they are all running at me pretty much at once. I wish they would have the name above them so you know automatically if they're a crafter, laborer etc.
So far I've gotten a craftsman with 120 in both armor and weapon, but they only have armor perk at 3. That's okay, I can focus them on armor and get another for weapon. Been working at it 3 days now.
What I did was get several 90 prof Weapon and Armor Crafters. Have them all make weapons and armor. It's so easy to mass produce Steel once you set everything up. Kill Elite Mammoths, Elite Wild Lions, the Elite Elephants, the Elite Bison, the Elite Snow Leopards, the Elite Wolves, the Elite Monitor Lizard, and the Elite Tortoises. ...By some miracle, if you EVER found a 120 weapon/armor smith, you would already have several full legendary sets anyway.
Hey, nice for sharing all this infos, but just a short questions, I detered now around 100 craftsman just from the flint tribe fortress and the great prairie barracks until now i found maybe 5 with this armor and weapon perks but never one with 120 in the proficiencies too. Is there mabye a chance that low level tribesmen will get these perk more often then detering max level npc or a special barracks where the chance of getting one is higher? Because i can tell that i have a lot of production tribesmen from the fang tribe all comes from the barracks in Table Mountain and Pit Hill and nearly each one have their perks Logging Pro, Vein Protection and Planting Pro Laborer, Craftsman and Porter all have these perks. the perks are Fang tribe only. And what is with the Perks Unlucky One, The Chosen and Extraordinary Talent?
Nice video, thanks. Does anyone know can I give my tribesmen to clan member? I found very good archer but playing tank. My clan member is archer so he will be more happy with this one. Thanks in advance.
Okay, so if I understand this correctly, job title (ie craftsman) is the only thing we need to look at since you have a white novice, a blue skilled, a gold novice, and a purple skilled as your go to armor and weapons people. This shakes my entire grasp of tribesman hunting and throws my methods out the window. That said it's notable that workers seem to wander the camps far away from their stations, but warriors seem to be tethered to their posts. Also, if you are in a camp at night, you can find a lot of workers sleeping in their beds. I have yet to see a fighter in a bed.
@@wak4863 That is the new plan. Based on what you were saying about the proficiency level being relevant to the armor level (bronze, iron, steel) are there any other crafts that 120+ is necessary for later game stuff?
I'm a bit confused that around 1:28 you're talking about wanting to put the proficiency bonus in to Steel Quality +7%. In my experience, by the time a crafter with [Weapon Enhancement III] reaches the proficiency bonus break point for each tier of weapon they're already producing 100% legendaries so grabbing the quality bonuses is moot. I'm fairly certain the [Weapon Enhancement] Talent is worded incorrectly, or isn't functioning as intended because it's not a 10% CHANCE to increase quality, it's just +10% quality which seems to be enough to guarantee legendary quality once the respective proficiency break point has been reached. That's just my anecdoatal experience, our 122 Weaponsmith with [Weapon Enhancement III] has yet to fail to produce a legendary while being fully speced in to +Durability.
The confusion probably comes from the proficiency difference. If they are 120 or higher with the perk they will craft legendary steel basically all the time. If they are say 100 with the perk they won’t craft legendary steel all the time. It doesn’t say so anywhere but I think there is a reduction in quality for crafting gear above the proficiency level. You also could be right about the way it’s worded.
Could also be getting confused by the enhancement. As the starting durability doesn’t matter as much when enhancing. Because the durability on the enhancement table is capped.
I commented above, Bone legendary cap at 30 Bronze at 60 Iron @90 And steel @120. I think the commenter is mostly right. Once these proficiency levels are reached you are at max chance to get legendary so a 120 capped thrall is best and the perk might be useless to look for unless you can't find a 120 capped. So if crafting only iron tier once you reach 90, that perk is useless, so u could spec all durability if your char has available 120
@@RaptorM3P Well, you need the 10% talent to guarantee Legendary at those caps. But since Wak already has a 120 Weaponsmith with the Weapon Enhancement talent, there should be no reason to take any proficiency bonus aside from Durability, unless I missed something. Then that crafter will always produce Legendary Steel, and have the max 12k Dura when upgrading to Enhanced. If it's possible to not produce Legendary steel at 120prof + Talent, then we've just have unfathomable luck crafting weapons at our own base. She never misses. (We're still on the search for our Unicorn Armor crafter).
@@SSJ21Talon I think they should make the 120 caps more probable on master class thralls, seems like they lower the chance the higher tiered novice vs skill vs master... But many ppl say it's still RNG
Thanks for another great video! When farming these crafters, do you need to kill them for new ones to spawn? Or will they eventually despawn and let new ones spawn?
Kill everyone so all enemies can possibly respawn as a craftsman. I found one in a barracks, killed everyone except some thralls deterred outside, when I came back 5.mimutes later, the whole barracks respawned and there were 6 craftsman. So it's RNG
I found two unicorns east of the "griffin" phoenix pyramid in the Fang barracks. It's interesting that you said they're are always from the Flint tribe. Btw, both unicorns had Devious Hearth 3 talent so I had to let them go. Already have one devious heart 3 armorer that I play with so she won't make a mess in the tribe.
Hey @wak4863 , thanks for this! I love your vids, from Conan Exiles days! I have a question, for the armorer and wep crafters, should I be going after high lvl ones and hope for a perk set with skills to match or lvl a low lvl flint master crafter from rainforest?
From my experience it doesn’t matter if you go for high level ones or low level ones. Your main focus should be on the proficiency level and then the perk. Combined they are amazing, but proficiency does pretty good by itself. The perk not so great as a stand alone.
@@wak4863I agree, 120 capped is best, then a perk for refined is secondary to that. It seems like weapon crafting lvl 30 is legendary bone, 60 is legendary bronze, 90 is legendary iron and 120 is legendary steel. The only thing is steel. So depending on what tier item your crafting is how high you need to get your crafter. Like my lvl 90+ weapon crafter is almost 100% iron legendaries. Hope this helps, also you receive zero experience once your crafter reaches those thresholds, so when a weapon crafter reaches lvl 90 weapon crafting, he gets 0 experience for bronze weapons. Hope that helps
Is there a way to reset their attributes (i.e. the 120 weapon crafting to change to the steel weapons instead of durability)? I tried the mysterious body shaping pill and that didnt work
Level 60 mmm a lot I never looked at. I'm stuck at 55... will check those icons and maybe try defeating higher level bosses. I only have 1 mask unlocked so far lol thnx
Item quality is based on the durability, So the higher the proficiencies the higher quality crafting you get as the thrall gets durability bonus per level. Best location for farming armorer and weapon smith is the barbarian flint tribe fortress in wetlands as those thralls are already around level 50 and they are more progressed into their talent tree.
So what I'm really getting out of this is just use someone that can go full into durbility, since the specific increase does nothing to improve the craft :/
Little advice, iff you have the correct craftsman but you dont get the passive correct, just put them in the cryopod thing and let it die then revive (this will reset their levels with losing their passives)
Please don’t do this. Talents and Masteries are hard coded. The talents and masteries will not change if you kill them and re level them. They will always get the same talents and masteries.
