This is what vanilla offers, which is already up to par with modded CS1 aesthetic wise. So beautiful, and will get even better when mods begin.
Amazing. This is what I dreamt of when I used to play Sim City. It needs some mods to add texture and grittiness to the buildings and sidewalks. But the lighting, shadows and proportions are perfect. Would be nice to be able to follow individual sims through their days.
I thought you had the ability to do that now ?
@@zeller999 I’m just assuming the mods for skylines don’t work I’m for skylines 2, just because I haven’t seen any of my favorite builders using them yet.
well from time to time they will add more mod to improve the game ability :D
@@DarrinBellyou can follow individual's lives
On the street level? I only just started play8ing Skylines 1 yesterday, and didn't realize I could do that. @@brettpitman3718
Omg 1:48 the man actually gets off the bike.
Looks really cool. A huge improvement over the last game. Cars look a bit wobbly still when they turn or come to a stop but that's okay.
Agree butthere are some bad things again - trees look horrible, lod is kicking in soon, map themes are really bad - textures for grass, rock, water etc. I'm used to 2k or 4K themes from workshop (csl 1) but every map theme I saw it is very bad quality like vanilla map themes in CSL1.
4:52 wow gorgeous shot. Probably more motorcycles than realistically necessary. But I think the thing I love the most is how spread out the pedestrians are. It’s not one big horde and it just feels more natural the way they’re dispersed around the city. Some areas there seems to intentionally be less pedestrian foot traffic which I think is more realistic, and sometimes you see pedestrians more so by themself and then you see them walking in groups etc. it just feels more reflective of how pedestrian traffic really goes.
this is just the start, and it's already beautiful
What a beautiful vanilla game.
YIKES! game is going to need a few years before it gets anymore of my time.
not years but about a year
This awesome video ,how more realistic it can be ??? ,i love the Game and music in the video, super 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
Some moves are a bit funky and definetly not in line with traffic regulations.
Hope this can be fixed as it breaks an otherwise very convincing image.
this game is gonna change everything!!
Far too many bikes lol
As a lead game developer I would say this game is a engineering masterpiece. It's not easy to have thousands of objects moving, colliding and hundreds of systems actively running and still the game running at significant FPS.
While I agree fully snd wholeheartedly with the general opinion you stated, it's factually wrong regarding fps. People have been reporting horrendously low fps (20 on a 3080 or as low as 30 on a 4090, the very best graphics card in the world) meanwhile CO have put out a statement saying they are aware the game is perforning well below standard and they will continue to working on it. So let's appreciate what this game is, but not mislead anyone, it has some major problems
@@sarparker5362 well the game is *extremely* CPU-bound, so it doesn't really matter what GPU you use. Pretty much every RTX will work the same in this game. It's all about your CPU, I'm sure it can run at 60 fps on Intel's 14th gen, maybe 13th too.
@@K4animation What? This is absolutely wrong. I'm sorry. I'm not the type of person to just bash people online and I'm not bashing you but this is CS1, it is NOT the case with CS2.
@@sarparker5362 I don't know, maybe I was mislead but in my opinion it's still a huge complicated simulation that needs to be calculated, and that's all on the CPU side. Also the the whole city has pretty detailed models (yes, I know the game uses either LODs or Nanite but it's still heavy) that are also CPU intensive.
But hey, I'm no game developer, I'm a 3D artist and I'm saying it from a 3D graphics perspective which is probably a little bit different than how it works in games. All I know is that simulations simply can't be calculated by GPU.
@@K4animation I appreciate the perspective. I've been playing for about 6-8 hours now and my CPU (10900K) is hitting 20% in midgame with skyscrapers while my GPU (RTX 3090) is always around 97% With those figures i can only conclude that at least until the midgame its a big GPU hog. I'm only getting about 35 fps but im still very much enjoying the game
Im so excited to get this game.
Your work looks so beautiful and what a beautiful looking game
What's the song in the video?
Bloom by Onycs ruclips.net/video/b15HrA8MMj0/видео.html here you are bro!
Amazing!😊
Thanks! 😄
Too bad about the aliasing and the shadows. It would look so much better if those were improved. I love the glow of the light sources though - especially the traffic lights and car lights.
After I changed to TXAA, things seem better!
Its nice if you have 3000$ computer even still performance is bad.
Fuck
game is ugly, looks like a mobile game, the bikes parked like a car is ridiculous, some IA from cars need be tweaked (I doubt because traffic on CS1 never was fixed), I hope performance will be fixed after some social posts
