Depressingly underrated
When you are deeply attracted to someone, but they are so wrong for you and you know it. Still, though, you can't give them up. This isn't a song only for women - it's for everyone. I've been there and on both sides of it.
Absolutely beautifully written, sung and performed, Katherine. I've listened to it many times, both in this video and live, and it never gets old. There's a live version from Virtually FolkEast where you're accompanied by a guy on a single pickup Strat. He's perfect at accompanying you. His guitar is complimentary to the song as it should be, and his harmonies are spot-on. Good choice when you picked him as your onstage partner.

Hi, I really love this song, I am seeking for the lyrics and want to learn to sing, where can I get it?
As an American my first thought was baseball bat, not a cricket bat? That's odd in England. Then the rabbit hole brought me to rounders, but the bat didn't seen small enough for a rounders bat. So I'm still thinking why did she have a baseball bat in her flat?
