Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this truck has only one working exhaust pipe. Seems like a waste of money for the extra pipe, and the weight factor. Plus it's fake.
Otherwise, this is a beautiful truck, one I'd like to have, minus the fake pipe.

I've heard, but I have a really good mechanic, and I'd have it rebuilt with Marine parts anyways so I can get more power and longevity out of it.
If you want big power, why a 60 series, Cats own all Detroit's
Cats are ok, My company owns all 3 motors and so far the Detroit has lasted the longest by well over 400k miles and still rolling. Put 4 turbos on one my cats, injectors,oil pump, and a lot of other very expensive parts. Only replace Valve cover gasket on my Detroit and its got 1.4m miles and uses 1/2 gal a week. I do like Cats, and they are strong, but a 500 HP Detroit runs just as well and are far easier to work on.

Nice looking truck, tall rubber is known as 11R 24.5 not just 24.5.
People usually say 24.5 or 22.5 for short
To say "tall rubber" does not mean a tire is 24.5, it means it is the larger diameter version of a 24.5 or 22.5 tire as apposed to the lo profile version which is a smaller diameter.

I bought a 567 last year. Was so mad when I found out that I couldn't get the Heritage package with a small sleeper
The Heritage is nice, but I personally think the Platinum Graphite looks better overall. That silver wood really sets off the gray dash.

Doesn't make sense not to get a bunk...at least a small one
Less cost, better visibility and less weight. If you have a run where it can all be done within the hours of service then sleeper isn't necessary.
Construction truck.
Daycabs are made and ordered by companies for a reason which the company feels bunks aren't needed!
Can we omit the carpet for rubber floor in heritage?
You can omit the carpet and just do a rubber floor mat. Not a problem at all.

Can they make this truck on 10 speed with a Cummins engine.
They can....however...10 speeds can only handle 1650lb.ft. of torque.

Are both exhaust stacks plumbed in, or is the Driver's side cosmetic only?
Drivers side is cosmetic only. If you want true dual we can do that for an extra charge.
Ghost pipe. Can you actually do that and make it a functional dual exhaust? How?

Beautiful truck. I don’t understand one thing. Why if you get the 2050 driveline would you cut the engine back to 565 instead of 605. Never did make sense to me. That’s not saying much. It still doesn’t make sense that they think a 13 liter engine is a class 8 engine when that little engine is for strait trucks
Tim McFarland 2050 driveline is based on torque not horsepower.
565/2050 and 605/2050 are both 2050 torque.
It's 4000 dollars more for 40 horsepower, not worth it, 605 also comes in 1850 torque
That’s crazy they charge that much. It makes sense to get the 565 then. Is it still $4k more to get the 605 with 1850
Cummins up-charges for the increase AND you get to pay more for warranty. And with the way I hear even the X15 Efficiency motors at 505/1850 are out-pulling most everything on the road these days, I don't think you need much more than 565/2050 (565/1850 would probably be the ideal tune for anything at 80,000 lbs throughout the US) unless you are running heavier than B-train weights in Canada.
Its a shame it don't have west coast mirrors thats a deal breaker for me

I can get the 567 with an 80" sleeper. We can add as many lights as you like.

Cat doesn't make truck engines anymore. To costly in their book.
Mark Bremmer cat don't make truck engines because they could not make a reliable one that would meet emission standards
They make truck engines just not highway truck engines. At the time when Cat got out of the highway market no one else made a reliable engine either.

Top Notch Peterbilt for sure only thing DEF being on the wrong side of the truck is a no no
They do their own DEF so having it on that side is not an issue.
