Mike you are one funny guy,just so you know I ain’t just a you tube jockey I used to be a truck driver here in the UK I did it for 23yrs,I’m 4 yrs older than you,I have driven a Freightliner semi once for 100miles with a chip van on the back in Northern Ontario with a Canadian friend I have,if I didn’t need dialysis I’d look into coming to Canada to be a truck driver
so let me get this straight... you put a SIGNAL LIGHT under the bumper of a LOG truck... knowing things get ripped off the truck from the FRAME down at times.... wow You or whoever installed the turn indicator lights really didn't think that through did they ?
Well, considering where they are mounted if they get ripped off then you have other problems to deal with before worrying about a little LED strip that costs $10

The custom headlights should come with a custom gasket / trim piece to fill in the hole in hood too.

The old school look is correct. BUT...No Good on the mounting lights void hole, needs a rubber filler piece.. Sorry, kinda looks like a weekend warrior did this.

You crack me up with your blog Mike that is what I had ordered but I couldn't wait for it so I bought a 389 short hood 4 axle heavy spec off the lot . The trk567 I took the paint scheme from Bushell transport for the 567 I had ordered I'm a ol school hood guy but a good friend of mine has a 567 and I like it so much I had one on ordered very driver friendly love the room and it was very quiet and handled really good keep up the good work Mike
Too bad you couldn't hang a round lollipop style turn signal under the side mirrors.
Don't put the lollipop in the fender, but in the side of the bumper would look good.
Seen a few tandems in the harrison area with highway tires on the FSR's. Always calling for a pull since they kept getting stuck or couldn't make the pulls when the weather gets soupy. The old timers from the logging outfit i was with at the time would laugh at them with a few choice words after one almost slid into their rig with the highways.

Oh yes I love a good rant, because we are all fed up with the EPA. Love the truck, it looks hefty and mean. I would have preferred a wider front bumper and more signal lights in the front, the way people drive they may not see the cute thin line front turning signal. Looks great nonetheles. And then you became the marriage counselor🤣🤣

That's a Great look. I even think the single round or even the single square headlight pod would look great. I have never been a fan of the stock 567 or 389 lights.
Looks really sharp Mike but for me going with the old school headlights I’d need to figure out how to put old style LED lollipop turn signals on the fenders and quad air horns on the roof
