CSE is software engineering while IT is support services. IT guys support the platforms, OS, DB, Network, security to enable software engineers to work on softwares. Both can do both the works, but of you intend to go abroad, CSE is better bet. Good luck !

thapar aint any cheaper than manipal.. why only target manipal.. moreoevr last year manipal has higher cse avg than thapar's
