There might be an error and they might have not updated ur information on the systems. You have to contact the hostel department. The ph no will be in the manipal home page.
Mechx branch have both electronics and mechanics subjects, a bit of coding as well... Mech has only pure mechanical related subjects. If you are planning ur higher studies in Robotics field, mechatronics will be helpful. Mech is closely related with automobiles n motors... Both are good in different domains. Hope it helps. Placements are decent, its hard but not too difficult, no of students varies, (min 60-70 in a section). I am balancing academics, full time internship and youtube all at the same time... So, be understanding if i couldnt reply quickly✌🏻 Keep supporting the channel.

There is a senior junior interaction ban for the 1st 2 - 3 months... Clubs will become active after that only. So, seniors will guide you after that through whatsapp groups. Before that u will be guided through a professor who will be appointed for you on the 1st day of ur clg.
Professors are good and experienced. Competition is high. Syllabus is tough but worth it. Placements are decent. ( above average if you work really hard )

Hi, chances of cse is very less but there is a slight chance for ece and electrical related departments. U can change ur branch in 3rd sem. Safe cgpa is around 9 for that becoz competition will be high n only limited seats will be there in 3rd sem for branch change. Subscribe to the channel if it was helpful ✌🏻

Mandatory to stay in hostel for the 1st year... If you are with parents, u can stay outside after getting permission.

I havent used any books. I practiced on JEE Mains sample papers.
