A few of us here in Sydney, Australia, were commenting that we had not seen anything new from you for a while, so you were missed. We often forget that the northern hemisphere tend to concentrate your modelling work to the winter months - we are at it all year round.
Your layout is beautiful!!! I've always admired it since I first saw it. The single track through the mountains just awesome. Makes me wish I lived in Canada. Lol. Great video
That INTRO!!! If you ever consider it, I could watch a full hour of your trains quietly cruising around the layout. Something peaceful and calming about it. I'm sure I'm not the only one. As always, excited about every bit of content you send our way. Looking forward to the next.
Hi Grant - You never cease to amaze me regarding progress and overall layout quality. Your craftsmanship is second to none. Thank you for a great update! Mike
WOW gary! A lot done and a heck of a lot to come. Like you both layouts suffered this summer. As great as you are with scenery I can't wait to follow the progress. Take care and be safe.
Hey Grant, glad the camera phone is finally fully charged again! Love the look of the new cement plant ('belly button' cement plant - hilarious). I agree with you on 'deadline motivation'...I'm installing my last (hopefully) under-benchwork turnout motors and fascia controls today prior to next Sunday's open house. I also thought your concrete forms were for an expanded train room 🙂. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Hey Mark good to hear from you. Happy to hear things are coming together on the Feather River Route. Open houses are a great way to force progress! Cheers Pal. -grant
Excellent update ! Great work. Might need to send out the MOW crews though to the area of that opening shot. Big rock in the gauge, might catch a low hanging airline
I’m anxious to see you model the mountain behind Crow’s Next Lake. The rock strata on the prototype is amazing from a geological standpoint. Great video!
I'm a little anxious as well Randy! Certainly have to model not just generic rock but capture the correct texture to pull off the scene. Cheers! -grant
My wife and I continue to be blown away by your scenery skills! She wants to know - how do you get your water so reflective? I'm assuming it's resin with only minimal texturing? If it's resin, do you prep it specially before pouring, like maybe using a pressure pot to get bubbles out? Finally, is there a video buried somewhere back in your catalog where you talk about resin?
Depends on the application. I use different techniques for rivers than for lakes. I have an 11 part series covering the scenery through the Michel Creek area on the layout where I dedicate 3 videos (Parts 7, 8 and 9) to prepping the creek bed as well as pouring texturing and detailing the "water". Cheers. -grant

Nice to be missed Eric. -30C will get a person looking for something to do inside in a hurry!! Cheers! -grant
Well done modelling Grant. I enjoyed the outside scenes as well. Thank you.
Many thanks! I find a good outdoor project clears my head to continue on the layout. -grant
I too like the Canadian style scenery. Yours is very well done. Great job my friend. 👍
Thank you very much! Cheers.
Your scenery is OUTSTANDING....
Thanks so much Ted! Cheers! -grant
Great to hear from you Grant!
Hey, thanks!
Great to see the layout back in action, looking forward to future updates! Greetings from the UK, Ian
Thanks Ian! Appreciate you dropping by for a visit. Cheers. -grant

Thank you so much! You might rethink the Canadian living idea after a winter or two!! Cheers! -grant
@@SouthernAlbertaRail yes. It's 48 F degrees here rn in Texas and I'M FREEZING 🥶. Lol. I'm use to 80 to 110 degrees F. Lol
Good to have you behind the camera again, interesting looking cement plant build. Cheers
Thanks Don. Not sure when I'll get around to building the actual plant. Still need to do a bit more research. Cheers. -grant

You put a lot of work into it. The result is great.
Thanks so much! -grant
Love the retaining wall , landscaping you did outside , it looks amazing !
Thanks Kiw! I had a blast building forms and messing with concrete, Kinda funny that I first used forms for 1:160 retaining walls and then went 1:1!!

Thanks John! Looking forward to working on some 1/160 scenery in the coming months. Cheers! -grant

Indeed. Track Patrol should have caught that!! Thanks for tuning in.

Parabéns pelo layout, está fantástico!
Obrigada!!
You posted on my latest video. So thought I would check yours. Very nice work, love your scenery, will be looking at some more videos. I subbed.
Hey thanks for stopping in for a peek! Cheers. -grant
Where did you find the turnout controls that you are using? Those look awesome. A lot more modern than what I have seen.
Signalogic Systems. I cover the wiring and install in one of the Summit Lime members vids.
I live in north west Alberta and I wanna know what stores you get tour materials
Which materials??
