You guys... what the hell. 8000 subscribers??! I remember when I was freaking out about getting 1000 subscribers! Thank you sooooo much for all of your support, you guys are awesome!! :)
I've been working on quite a few video projects, but none of them really... stuck. I've been working on and off on a lot of projects and haven't really been able to get in the groove on any particular one... THIS ONE, HOWEVER, is an exception. Luckily I didn't encounter editor's block at all for this edit and it was relatively smooth sailing. There was very little lag, if any at all, during the editing process, AND THIS PROJECT ONLY TOOK 10 MINUTES TO RENDER. That's like... the quickest I've ever been able to render ANYTHING, LOL. And for a project of this complexity, it's surprising.
On a random side note, this is the first time I've used The Hunchback of Notre Dame in my edits! Esmerelda was a fantastic subject for this video, I just couldn't leave her out! On another side note... this edit basically consists of humans, dogs and cats.. with some birds. That's it. LOL
I hope you guys enjoy this "Las Vegas-style" edit, as my friend calls it! ;)
Hopefully it's suitable for an 8000-subscriber celebration! Haha~ I knew people like sparkles. Well, here you go, sparkles. And disco-ball type overlays, oh yes.

What I love about this is how different it is from your sterotypical animash. The clips were diverse (Rio 2, Avatar, and the Goofy Movies! ) and the editing wasn't "rainbow background" and "flash text on screen evey delayed second". It was very appealing to watch and again, I just love how diverse the clips are. It wasn't Lion King, Balto and Fox and the Hound 2 24/7. (Though Balto was used, but didnt outshine it with the same ol clips) Everything had its place. You are a very unique editor! Keep up the good work!

My favorite part is 1:00-1:00 with Kitty Softpaws and Puss in Boots. Why? I think the effects looked really nice, I loved the typography, and I think the motion of the characters really captures the beat of the song.

Can I ask you how you find the right music for your intros?
I personally like a lot of instrumental soundtracks to movies, TV shows and video games! You can find good intro music in things like this. Video games commonly have short little jingles like this when you have accomplishments, unlock something new, etc. The majority of the music I use in my intros is from the video game "Okami"! If you have any video games you particularly like, maybe check out its full soundtrack. You may find something good to use :)
Yeah .. I know x ray dog and kingdom hearts is good too but I'm not coming across anything I'm in love with. In your time of editing were there any places you found good textures resources?
Hmm, nope, not at all. Whenever I needed textures I just did a Google search. That's probably why I've never been one to use textures much lol, just sparkles.
And what about for downloading music and stuff now? :>
I buy my music from iTunes or buy the CDs XD
