Excellent work showing the ht and consistency probabilities; bonus points for not losing time and going straight to what matters. Quality content as always D. Keep up the great work, i can't see the water community without ya.
I had found an unexpectedly perfectly compatible water monster that can work with Icejades I wouldn't have found without your video. Mermail Abyssnerei is a water monster with a quick effect to discard itself and DESTOY 1 other water monster from hand OR field to buff another water monster you control with the atk and def of the destroyed monster until end of this turn. The pop effect DOES trigger your lvl 4 and 5 icejades' gy effect to return an icejade from grave to the field and with the way Abyssmegalo works, you could easily get all 3 depending on your hand. And the link 2, abyssalacia, works just as perfectly if you have the continuous trap on field with 1 icejade (often Aegerine if not Gymir)
Awesome video! This really gives me the motivation and hope to keep learning and playing, really hope we get to see something like this for the Shark variant
Thank you :) In the lore, Fire King and the Atlanteans are at war with each other. With FireKing getting support, we should be getting Atlantean support soon too.
This deck seems fun. I like the fact that its using a different mechanic (hand ripping) which is really annoying for the appointment. Thank for the vid
Great breakdown, i gotta find a way to merge water dragon cluster, bonding- dho and transaction rollback. I wanna go full water against the fire king snake eyes meta.
Nice plays, love the ending with the probabilities Do you think tidal could be useful to some water decks now that its at 3? Im thinking of mixng it with sprights to send nimbles to the grave, maybe even mixing it with gishki sprights
Quick question... Why do you choose to shuffle the cards back into their decks with premadonna? Isn't it better to leave them as banished cards so they can't use them anymore? Btw, great video. I love how you make everything so easy to follow. You name every card and everything you're doing. Great job, you def earned a new sub.
Thank you! So, a card banished by Minstrel is added back to the hand at the end of the turn, but not it you shuffle it into the deck with Primma Donna.
@@deepseadarew6012 oh wow, you're so right about that 😅🤦 thanks for replying lol. I was so confused about that lol. I can't believe I didn't catch that lol.
Wow, YT has skipped this notification 😢 had to check your Channel by myself, and man i was pleased! I am playing Atlanteans on ladder myself, its my most sucessful deck lately. I am running a small umi package as an alternative route for Maxx C, but your build is more agressive, also i am running two board breakers. Wouldn't be nice to add Lapis Dragon?
Would Sea Nettle fit into this deck? Could be another way to lock yourself into water if Coral is negated, and can also recycle our dragoons to enable Prince a little better. But I’m a noob, and maybe this messes with the ratios too much.
If a card isn't a 1 card combo, or it doesn't 2 card combo with most of the deck, then it may reduce your consistency. So you want to keep those cards to a minimum. So although Nettle might be useful in some niche situations, it doesn't 2 card combo with most things, so it's competing for space in the deck with other similar cards.
@@deepseadarew6012 okay got it! Keep up the great videos, my guy! I absolutely love anything to do with the sea and ocean, so your deck profiles and explanations are absolutely amazing for me:)
It did quite well going second. We have many 1 card combos that trade 1 for 1 with the opponent. --- Manifestation is one of our best cards going second since it summons an Aegirine (+0) which then adds a card to your hand (+1), while Manifestation removes an opp card if your opponent removes an Icejade (+1). This is essentially a +2 in card advantage if all resolve. --- Ran easily summoning Gymir is useful going second if your opponent doesn't have an answer. --- 11:14 The replay vs Vanquish Soul highlights the power of the deck going second. Zealantis can wipe boards, Diva, Icejade Ran, or Manifestation give us enough extenders to link climb into Zelanatis, Megalo can OTK. --- 14:41 We can also use DrollNLock to leave the opp with weaker boards so we can roll over them.
@@deepseadarew6012 thanks for the reply, the deck looks fun to play but it's also not cheap so I was wondering how it did going second before building it... usually I always lose the coin toss (probably my own bias but that's how it feels) which forces me to run on top of the usual handtraps, a few board breakers which I didn't see in your build...

In the tremora Prince combo you said that you can use this if they ash your deep sea diva. But how can I normal summon diva again? Did you mean the next turn or did I miss something?
The Diva combo starts by summoning Prince from the deck to start a combo. If your opponent negated Diva, then you used Tremora to summon Prince from the hand, then you can continue the same exact combo. This means you are using Diva as bait for handtraps.
Interesting deck but how's the follow up potential. Most of the games it seems you have nothing left in your hand to play a turn 3 so if your opponent clears your board you have no backup plan. There are a couple of games that you are able to search Diva for the follow up play, but your hand consisted of mostly extenders already so that seemed to be the reason why. How common is it to have follow up potential? If this deck isn't good for that, is there a better icejade deck that does this?
Icejades relies on 3 things for follow up play. 1) Builds boards that float. Tremora and Erosion let you float into other monsters. Gymir can bring itself back if its in the GY and your opp banishes a card by card effect. 2) Floating into Baby Aegirine, so you can use it to add the Field Spell or whatever you need for follow up plays. 3) Using Coral Anemone to special summon monsters from the GY. Preferably Prima Donna, so you can use its effect to summon Aegirine from the deck, to get another search and then to synchro into a lvl 10 Water Synchro monster. If you manage to search with Aegirine on both turns to add Field Spell, then Curse, then you can Curse Lock on that following turn. Though I didn't run Curse-Lock in this build, but some people do.
It may not make a significant difference in the long run. Without Accel Synchro, you would just end on lvl 8 synchros sometimes. Dragite is still good, but not as good as Baronne.
being new to yugioh, i downloaded master duel and ran pure ghoti and got gold 2 within 3 days.. that deck made me like the game lol..tho i left because i got tired of seeing tearlaments.. skill issue
It's no better than Foolish Burial or Foolish Goods in this deck. We don't have anything except Tremora to send to the GY, which doesn't help you start any combos. Tidal doesn't trigger Dragoons sent to the GY from the deck. Tidal is better in Atlantean Sprights or Tearjades where you can actually send something to the GY to start a combo.
