    I'm surprised you don't play chengying with all the banishing going on.
    I played this with the some of the icejade cards the new support one that makes a token the level 3 search and the level 5 speacial summon from hand plus the field spell and the level10

    Awesome! Been waiting for something fresh, after using Ghoti cosmo turbo for some time. Should i dismantle the three Deepsea King Coleachant, that are not in this decklist, or do you think i should keep them?

    6:48 I think the best play would have been summoning snopios immediately and using its on field effect on deep beyond to play around the nib. That would be 4 summons and even if you want to risk the 5th you would keep your deep beyond and whatever tuners you hopefully banished with snopios.

    I love running off-meta decks, and I fell in love with ghoti as soon as I discovered it. Do you think this can be a competitive deck? I'd love to see more gameplay of you using it

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  3 месяца назад +1

      It's great against Snake-Eyes, not so much against other decks. It lacks the consistency to really pull of a Turn 0 strategy, but it will get better when we get Psiics and Keaf. I'll return to this deck once those cards get released. Should be soon, maybe from July to September.

    I've always read about White Aura Whale missing timing. How and why did it not miss timing @ 2:23 when it was CL3 in a CL4 chain? I've read that it should be last in chain to resolve properly.

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  6 месяцев назад +3

      It depends how you summoned Whale. If you summon White Aura Whale with the Ghoti tuners, then the Tuners must be the last in the chain to resolve, then you can activate Whale on any part of the chain.
      If you just synchro summon Whale on its own, then Whale must be the last in the chain to resolve.

    Wait master duel has mods? I’m pretty sure that deep beyond pic is not real and having keaf as the back row aura is kinda funny. Mind telling me what you used?

      I use two client side mods from Nexus mods. 'Floowandereeze and Modding' is used to tweak icons and sleeves. 'All Royal Mod' is used to upgrade Glossy to Royal.

      I’m guessing it’s a mod because his opponent was also all royal finish cards

    Please, do tell. Can ghoti play effectively under shifter or similar banish effects? And why didn't you use it here?

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  2 месяца назад +1

      It's in the decklist. I've used it in other Ghoti videos I think. Shifter hurts Ghoti's grindgame because we usually need Arionpos or Askaan to hit the GY, but it can hurt the opponent more than it hurts you, so depending on the META, you would have to weigh the risk of running it/activating it.

    Played this deck the other day,leaffish got negate basically stop my combo leaving my field open for otk,against a 1st turn dogmatika somehow negate my deep beyond leading to otk and against a ra deck destroyed all my monsters going second with me have nothing to fight against it,and kasthira going first totally lock ghoti

    Is Aegirine better than Chengying? Banishing seems much better against Snake Eye.

    • @SlayHER-21
      @SlayHER-21 6 месяцев назад +3

      Different use cases, Chengyimg foves you more removal, but you alreafy have Deep Beyond for a level 10 that can banish stuff, and while banishing from GY is great, Aegerine give your field protection instead, which is potentially more valuable, althougj you dont normally need either one anyway since a well timed Deep Beyond tends to end a turn.

    Damn this deck is expensive in real life😅
    Well... You can try to do without the Accel Stardust 😅
    Damn though theres some high priced on here.

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  5 месяцев назад

      I don't think this version works without Accel Synchro, it's important for Turn 0 plays with Hop Ear. Other Ghoti versions would work better in TCG and would be much cheaper :) Like White Aura Ghoti, and SHS Ghoti

    would you recommend 2x Ready Fusion?

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes. Ready Fusion is great for Ghoti decks :) There are variants of Ghoti decks that don't need it. Like Adventure Ghoti, Runick Ghoti, and SHS Ghoti.

    What's your take on running the water dragon ruler on Ghoti?

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  6 месяцев назад

      You can only use 1 effect of Tidal Dragon per turn, and I don't find any of them to be useful in Ghoti by themselves.
      Tidal seems to have use cases in Atlantean Sprights where it can discard Nimbles, or Tearlament Icejades where it can start a Tear combo.

  • @atlendega

    How does a Ghoti Runick variant compare to this pure setup?

    • @lucifero_il_gatto
      @lucifero_il_gatto 4 месяца назад

      Depends on your patience, do you like grindy games or more interactive ones. The runick engine is very good and consistent, pure ghoti is really fun to pilot and has more non engine space imo both are equally good.
      Now if you want some real jank you should try necroface tempest ghoti otk (first or blind second) going first is your usual combo, going second try to give them a 3000 kaiju, attack with a tuner or 0att monster and win

    • @deepseadarew6012
      @deepseadarew6012  6 месяцев назад

      It is. Coelacanth doesn't work well in a meta where everyone has 20 handtraps, like right now in Snake-Eyes meta.
