Easily the most spine-chilling soundtrack in the game. Really makes you feel like you're Jill Valentine running through the zombie infested streets of Raccoon City. Damnit bring back the old Resi games that had the killer atmosphere, never known suspense like the first 3 RE games. The feeling that something was always going to get you even if it was quiet, the having to conserve ammo so as to not run out because if you did, you were fucked. The atmosphere that would keep me sleeping with the lights on for weeks after each play through. Nostalgia overload right here.

I've watched most of the gameplay up until the Hospital, then skipped the last bits of the games until the credits. I've recorded the audio of the new arrangement for the credits theme if you'd like. Also City of Ruin appears later in game according to some Reddit and Resetera users.
They praise because is super easy to play RE 4, i am sorry but everything you kill Drop bullets or grenades...you never run out of bullets....this is not RE is jut a Rambo game.

Best resident evil game ever. Nothing will beat the creepy atmosphere running through post apocalyptic raccoon city alleys. The sense of dispair scavenging every last bit of useful item, while you know the number of people infected is rising and you're being hunted by a huge prototype monster.
I would agree with you...riiiight up until you leave the police station at night and go through that door with the lockpick. It was perfect, the first 10-20 mins of re3 is incredible, resident evil survival horror at its best. It has resi 1 and 2 beat and 4 i think beat in terms of first 20 mins. After that it turns into a kind of survival action game and the atmosphere kind of disappears. Its not bad at all though. Re3 is a great game. But it should have had the survival horror quality of the first 10-20 mins continue on for atleast half of the game.

Finally, from May onwards, reopening but with restrictions. However, the old resident evil is the best in the serie !

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Shinji himself mentioned that the old school resi is like a beer, he ddnt want to overcomplicate things, the evil within is like a fine wine, there are very little people who actually understand the plot of evil within 1 and 2 not to mention evil within 2 being a open world survival horror, shinji is also a genre defining game developer, the concept of devil may cry 1 was his, as it was a resident evil title, Ace attorney trilogy, God Hand, VAnquish, shadows of the damned, each of these games have their own flavor and can stand as a genre themselves, his gameplay is second to none, hideo kojima himself knows in Japan that everyone even naughty dog themselves look at Shinji Mikami as the master of gameplay, when you really reflect and look at all the games from that capacity, you might see what im getting at, although humans will cannot be changed by another, like i said, each to their own.
I miss when I don't know what I'm doing I had to going around the city, exploring, trying what'll work. And just had chance to enjoy the soundtrack as well. Now I'm more experienced, it's about finishing the game as fast as I can lol.

I've played all resident evils including the remakes and I can say without any doubt than the atmosphere that the old games had felt never could be replaced.
The image doesn't obviously compare to current games at all, but it's the unbeatable soundtrack album what makes this game stand out from the rest of what I've ever played. Extremely talented composers! Nemesis should chase them because they're the S.T.A.R.S if you get what I mean.😉🤩

Música bem desoladora, lembra muito uma sensação de vazio quando se está numa cidade vazia e abandonada mas também numa casa completamente vazia sem mais ninguém que tanto ama. As vezes lembro dela quando vejo ou sinto algo tão triste mesmo se estou chorando ou não.

Sus melodías, su jugabilidad, su historia, los monstruos, los zombies, las armas, las cinemáticas y los puzzles... 5 estrellas. @@martinezegt5433 Este fue el favorito de muchísima gente a pesar de tener varios defectos, como su impacto en la trama, que se robó el título de Code Verónica de ser el 3 y CV quedó como Spin Off canon, misma historia que en RE 2, etc.
Esto demuestra que si haces muy bien algo y metes todo adecuadamente, no importará los fallos que tenga, ese juego será muy querido y respetado, como con RE 3 Némesis, quedó como Obra Maestra objetivamente.

Música bem desoladora, lembra muito uma sensação de vazio quando se está numa cidade vazia e abandonada mas também numa casa completamente vazia sem mais ninguém que tanto ama. As vezes lembro dela quando vejo ou sinto algo tão triste mesmo se estou chorando ou não.

This and "The Marshaling Yard Second Half" are my favorite ambient tracks from the entire RE series. You feel a sense of dread and hopelessness in both, it's superb.

Totalmente de acuerdo... Jamás olvidaré este gran juego que sin duda alguna, es el mejor de la PS1. Sus melodías, su jugabilidad, su historia, los monstruos, los zombies, las armas, las cinemáticas y los puzzles... 5 estrellas. Esperemos que hagan un remake de este juego más adelante (lo mismo pero con gráficos más realistas)
