One, it’s best to wire a relay to the control box if you don’t have an ignition switched power port. Make sure to fuse the power side at the source. Two, punch a hole through the grommet, lube the line with soapy water and push it through the hole. If you don’t have a grommet handy, buy one, drill a hole and install it. They’re cheap and will protect the lines. Lastly, make sure all wires and lines are secured with zip ties so they don’t rub sharp or hot metal. This is most important on the power wire. PS: I was an automotive accessory installer for three decades, so I hope my tips will help clean up your install.
Just got mine installed on a 10th gen civic hatchback. The muffler quiets the exhaust more than I want when the valves are open but retains the pops and burble. I could even go with a catless downpipe and the muffler would be able to tone down the sound when valve is closed. Very happy with my purchase.

Does the mounting orientation of the universal muffler have any effect on functionality? I.E. if it were to be mounted in a sideways orientation as opposed to flat like normal?
Which way does a single outlet muffler go? I saw many different video showing the valve regulators installed both forward and afterward as well on the top and bottom of the muffler. Will the muffler come with a quick reference guide? Thanks
Serious question, I see a ton of exact muffler, box, remotes for sale as yours but with different names on them. What makes them different than yours if it’s the same parts? Some RUclipsrs have cut them open to display the insides as the same as yours. Do you have a longer warranty maybe and better tech support? Does yours allow for you to partially open or close the valves like others or open or close only? Nice video and ads you have 😊
The box is relatively the same. We are going to be doing some improvements to it soon. But yes there is a warranty with ours and our customer service will take care of you if any issues arise. Only fully open and closed
Our universal mufflers do not have an electronic motor. Instead the valves are open and closed from suction provided by the vacuum control box, which in our experience offers far superior performance and reliability
I have a g20 330i with a gold plated valvetronic exhaust system made by you guys. I am having an issue where the Vacuum pump will turn on when I turn the exhaust on but then will pause for a second but then turn on again. This keeps going and doesn't turn off until I turn the vacuum pump off. I dont know what the issue is but I believe it is affecting the right side of the exhaust. Could it be a leak in the vacuum lines? How can I troubleshoot this issue and make my exhaust system work perfectly again?
I have some issues with mine , was working just fine and now it's like blocked , and i can't open it, it looks like some dirt got in the achaust pipe , would i solve the problem if i pressure wash the pipe ?

You could probably disassemble the fob and 3M tape it to one of the unused spaces for a button in your car. This is a neat idea and would be very convenient in not having to carry the remote fob. Might try this.

It will not have an affect! The muffler can be installed in any Orientation and still work as intended.

We usually have valve at the rear most point of the vehicle. other than that it doesn't really matter
My vaccum box dosent shuts off wven after valve are fully opened what could be the issue with vaccum box it used to work fine as shown in video .

You must use it...Negative can go to any bare metal screw etc to provide ground wire.
