I played Brora last Summer and it was a beautiful day! I played Tain, Brora, Royal Dornoch, Golspie, Castle Stuart and Fortrose & Rosmarie. This was a dream come true for me and the members at all the courses could not have been nicer and more welcoming. I am happy that you got to play these 2 courses and you should try and get to the other Highland courses when you get the chance. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
In the 70s summer for me was the highlands climbing and walking the mountains. In the 90s less mountaineering but a bit of golf. Your video today is as usual outstanding all the pictures where delightful but those cows just awesome ❤
Beautiful scenery, everyone on my side of the pond raves about playing St. Andrew’s (which I’m sure is spectacular) but you have opened my eyes to many other beautiful options. Thanks again Andy & Hannah! Andy A on the photo, sorry Hannah!
Dear Andy, I don’t know what to say. Your videos are the best medicine in the morning to get going and leave home with a smile. You must enjoy what you do. I absolutely love your content and the smooth way you explain these amazing courses in the UK, especially up north in Scotland. For us in Germany the season has come to an end some time ago. Please keep going and hit this ball well. AL. 😊😊😊
Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories. I've played all over the world but my favourite weeks golf was my highland fling of Dornoch, Tain, Brora, Bonar Bridge and Golspie and yes I have a few photos with cattle from Brora.
Magical place. I have visited a couple of times fairly recently without clubs, but did play it nearly 50 years ago. I recall there were sheep then rather than the Highland cattle. Both Dornoch and Brora are on my bucket list, but sadly such a long from middle England.
The fact you have created this opportunity to spend quality time with your daughter, whilst enjoying the great spot of golf is to be applauded. I love these PXG sponsored trips to courses off the beaten track. Only problem is my own personal Wishlist just keeps getting longer. Keep up the good work.
Andy, it's another very enjoyable video. Great to see you smiling which seemed to push your golf game to a very high level. The pictures were top quality as well this week, but its Andy B for me.
I had the pleasure of playing Brora in 2019. It is a lovely course, but we had more sheep than cows with us on the course. However the lady ahead of us on 17 tee was pushing on a cow with her driver on the tee box so she could make a swing. Hilarious. I see they still have the electric fences guarding the greens from the livestock. I'm a bit sad to hear the livestock will be moving on as it certainly adds character to the course. Brora also holds my first birdie in Scotland on "Snake" -- the 13th hole you mention on the video. Oh and sorry again Andy as 'Hannah C' and the hairy coo take photo of the week for me.
Another amazing course, love the Highland cattle!! The photo contest I has to go to Hannah C. Thank you Andy, please keep up bring us to these wonderful courses.
Do they allow carts on this course, or walking only? I used to hate carts, but now at 83 after a quadruple bypass heart operation and some new cancer issues, I need to use a cart. It would be a great pity to be unable to play a gorgeous course like this due to age and medical issues.
Andy B took it for me, the sky came to the rescue with the shot, adding more interest, otherwise the highland cow would have won. Another fantastic course for the bucket list. Thanks to you both for the content. Think Andy was in his element on this one.
Stunningly beautiful location, and the course is a bit special as well. I am very jealous. If a course leaves a smile on your face after the round, then it is a great course
Great video, glad you enjoyed my home club. The last 4 holes are the card wreckers. Regarding the livestock on the course it's still to go to land court so not set in stone yet.
We've not long bought a little tourer caravan and I spend my time seeking decent sites next to Golf Courses for next year, Brora has one right next to the course .....😀
Another of my favourite courses! I played with a New Zealander who had an eagle (on the 14th I think). It all seems to go by too quickly!! Andy B this week
Shame you not heading further North - can't say there are too many more HC's on the courses but none the less, stunning to play and walk around. Well done again and haste ye back!
Another wonderful episode. I have to ask, are the wires surrounding the greens "hot" and if so did they leave a little opening to get onto the greens or did you have to step over them?
While I am a big fan of Hairy Coo’s, I thought that Andy B was a great shot. I have only been to the Highlands once and loved it. I would love to come back and play those two courses.
Andy A for me, and I’m feeling very jealous of your travels Andy. As yet I cannot get the good lady to give me a pass out for a night away to play golf. ☹️ working on it though but she’s not interested in controlling the trolley or in walking the course. She does not know what’s she’s missing
Did you find out why they are removing those majestic creatures... I am with you as long as safety is not a concern it must be alike to removing the 18th. GREAT VID
Love Brora. Classic links with some memorable holes, with the 18th wrecking many a card right at the end. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy a bowl of soup in the clubhouse afterwards overlooking the 18th. It will be a shame if they stop the highland cows grazing the course 🏌️♂️ Hannah C 📸

Merry Christmas Jim
Love this place played it last year. And if I could only play one course before I die. It would be here .Great viewing again.keep them coming
Yes its amazing
What a great video! The cows had such a peaceful presence, I can see why you were so happy on the course!
Wonderful place
In the 70s summer for me was the highlands climbing and walking the mountains. In the 90s less mountaineering but a bit of golf. Your video today is as usual outstanding all the pictures where delightful but those cows just awesome ❤
I can certainly see why you have an affinity with the Highland cows. They are truly majestic in their way.
Beautiful animals
Nick B … Nice capture of color.
@@TheAverageGolfer, piece of trivia. A herd of Highland Cows is known as a ‘fold’. Might be worth a point in a pub quiz.
Thanks for sharing your round with us. Enjoyed your commentary, pics and videos. Quite the beautiful place!
It is indeed
Great video, Andy! Played Brora by myself many years ago, fantastic memories
Many thanks!
Beautiful scenery, everyone on my side of the pond raves about playing St. Andrew’s (which I’m sure is spectacular) but you have opened my eyes to many other beautiful options. Thanks again Andy & Hannah!
Andy A on the photo, sorry Hannah!
In all honesty the Old Course has its place but wouldnt come near my Top 10 to play if visiting UK
Andy as always great video, those highland cows are so majestic and beautiful. Easy to fall in love with them!
Thanks you and yes majestic animals

So nice of you

A wonderful part of the world and some incredibly good golf courses
Another one i play when up there, got some great pictures of the coos this summer in the sunshine. Another little gem.
Yes indeed a gem
Magical place. I have visited a couple of times fairly recently without clubs, but did play it nearly 50 years ago. I recall there were sheep then rather than the Highland cattle. Both Dornoch and Brora are on my bucket list, but sadly such a long from middle England.
Yes it’s a hike but well worth it John

Oh and sorry again Andy as 'Hannah C' and the hairy coo take photo of the week for me.
Close to the end of this year, you seem to have created two masterpieces in a week’s time Andy. Congratulations ! .
I think Old Tom and Braid created the masterpiece I had the good fortune of pressing the record button
Thank you for bringing this beautiful place to us. 😊
Thnaks for watching
What a wonderful looking course, and the highland cows i'm with you such lovely animals.
Stunning location Andy, great course as well. Brilliant vlog. Wish I was there with you
Glad you enjoyed it
One of my favourites Andy, excellent work yet again top channel
Many thanks!
Another amazing course, love the Highland cattle!! The photo contest I has to go to Hannah C. Thank you Andy, please keep up bring us to these wonderful courses.
We have one more next week for you Bruce
Love the video. You captured the course beautifully. Great job
Thanks
The video does Brora proud Andy. Makes me remember how much I love playing that course and I can’t wait until next year when I head up there again.
Such a beautiful location! All the photos are wonderful, my favorites are Andy a, and Hannah c.
Another great links to travel north and play, the Highland cattle remind me of the wrapper on Highland toffee that I enjoyed as a boy!
Maybe thats why I am a fan.....loved highland toffee
Do they allow carts on this course, or walking only? I used to hate carts, but now at 83 after a quadruple bypass heart operation and some new cancer issues, I need to use a cart. It would be a great pity to be unable to play a gorgeous course like this due to age and medical issues.
Not sure about carts John
So beautiful, love playing through your eyes
Andy B took it for me, the sky came to the rescue with the shot, adding more interest, otherwise the highland cow would have won. Another fantastic course for the bucket list. Thanks to you both for the content. Think Andy was in his element on this one.
I certainly was
Another great video Andy. I agree that cattle add to the atmosphere of the course. My vote this week is for Hannah (D).
Thanks for voting
Great video as usual but its the highlands of Scotland. Glad you enjoyed it and there are more great courses even further north.
Incredible scenery, another superb pice of filming, Andy b for me, well done
Glad you enjoyed it
Love Brora and Dornoch, pleased I played them when they were affordable.
What a great journey you are having, cheers...
Thank you kindly
Stunningly beautiful location, and the course is a bit special as well. I am very jealous.
If a course leaves a smile on your face after the round, then it is a great course
Stunningly beautiful indeed
Great video, glad you enjoyed my home club. The last 4 holes are the card wreckers. Regarding the livestock on the course it's still to go to land court so not set in stone yet.
Glad you enjoyed the video, I hope the cows stay Daniel but realise there must be some issues in having them stay
@TheAverageGolfer really is alot to it. 1 of the big things is cost of cleaning up after them and repairing damage, but as I said alot more to it.
@ yes I can imagine, it’s a shame there isn’t a compromise
Such a beautiful location. The cows bring a special charm. My vote goes to photo Andy b.
We've not long bought a little tourer caravan and I spend my time seeking decent sites next to Golf Courses for next year, Brora has one right next to the course .....😀
Perfect place to stay and play
Hannah C, just because. Thank you both for taking us with you to Brora. Beautiful 👍🏻❤️
Good choice
Brora, one of my favourites, glad you enjoyed it 👍
and now one of mine
Another of my favourite courses! I played with a New Zealander who had an eagle (on the 14th I think). It all seems to go by too quickly!!
Andy B this week
Another great one, Andy. Looks gorgeous. Love the cows. Photo Andy B.
Glad you enjoyed
Heading up for the Alfred Dunhill next year , digs booked , plan a few days in the Highlands before it ⛳️
That will be a great trip
Shame you not heading further North - can't say there are too many more HC's on the courses but none the less, stunning to play and walk around. Well done again and haste ye back!
Yes it is a shame and will be back to go further north and west
Another wonderful episode. I have to ask, are the wires surrounding the greens "hot" and if so did they leave a little opening to get onto the greens or did you have to step over them?
I assumed they were but never tested them 😂 you have to step over them btw
Do they not put chemicals on the fairway or greens?
What camera and lens are you using?
Mainly Sony, different lenses
While I am a big fan of Hairy Coo’s, I thought that Andy B was a great shot. I have only been to the Highlands once and loved it. I would love to come back and play those two courses.
You should
What beautiful scenery! What the reason the cows are being removed?
Damage and mess
What a wonderful trip! (Best photo Andy B)
Its a trek but worth it Dave
Another great video/course Andy..Have you heard or tried the new Spurk Golf Mats ?? Maybe you could do a review
No o haven’t, where can you buy them
Photo Andy B.
I am very much enjoying the Off the Beaten Track series.
Me too
Hard choice this time around Andy the course is stunning and the cattle are an added bonus. I must go with Andy a.
Absolutely
U don’t need a driver off the 1st. I love Brora. Always play it as my 1st open of the season. Greens are quick
Great place, driver worked ok!
Incroyable endroit toute la grandeur de la nature et de lorine du golf❤
another stunning course and wild life as well
Lovely course and video the cows are unbelievable and maybe a little intimidating. Hannah C for me this week
Lovely place, thanks Andy. Photo Hannah C, no contest.
God choice
I voted for Andy A but they were all excellent and the Highland Cows resemble the American Buffalo. Once again a fantastic show
Yes they do
Sad news for sure. Why would they do that ? Seems like such a lovely habitat for them. Beautiful course as well !
It is because of how much damage and mess they make as I understand
Andy A for me, and I’m feeling very jealous of your travels Andy. As yet I cannot get the good lady to give me a pass out for a night away to play golf. ☹️ working on it though but she’s not interested in controlling the trolley or in walking the course. She does not know what’s she’s missing
Keep working away, maybe show her this video and how beautiful golf courses can be
@ I’m trying keep telling her how de stressing it is on the course. Suppose I’ll have to spoil her and stay where there is a spa or something
Another course on my planned sortie. Shame I'll miss those lovely beasts.
Not sure how long they will be there for
Andy B. The cows and course are majestic. Pity they can’t stay together 😢
Yes a real shame
Andy B. Stunning!!
Hannah c for the photo Andy, a magnificent creature that will b sorely missed when the club moves them off.
Did you find out why they are removing those majestic creatures... I am with you as long as safety is not a concern it must be alike to removing the 18th. GREAT VID
Its due to damage caused and the mess they leave that needs to be removed, must be a huge challenge for the club
Nice course . Andy B photo the clouds make it 👍
Yes it does!
Your hotel looks incredible. My people were herders over there. Maybe I could get a discount? Yeah, right.😅
Good luck 😂
Is there a local rule for relief from a cow pat?
There's a clear winner this time on the pics. Andy B.
Nice choice
Andy a,b and c. Cheers 👍
Nice jacket. Can you share details please?
Yes one tough finish
Andy b. You are making me desire to move to the UK.
Cmon over
Another fantastic video Andy, keep up the great work, Hannah e for me on the photos.
Thanks again!
One of my favourites
And now mine
Enjoyed it!
good
Andy, a first for everything….your photos were better than Hannah’s 😂
I tried
What's the rules for a ball that lands in a cow patty? Hopefully it's lift clean and place! lol
I’d rather leave it there! 😂
You can’t play a ball in motion😂
Andy B for me. Love the cows though!
Incredible beast
Another great vlog Andy e
Glad you enjoyed it
Pic: Andy A. Maybe the Highland cows were negotiating marketing rights to tourists taking pictures. Lost the case and were told to move on. 😜
Or maybe mooooove on?
£140 green fee wow !
Andy B gets in by a nose from Hannah c - I loved Brora - played it in bad weather but it’s epic - old school links - James Braid gem
Marvellous place
Andy B👍
Andy B gets my vote.
*Them there are H U G E goats!* 🐐🐐
Andy B and Hannah C :)
Good choices
I'm favoured, $27K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America.
Got to be Hannah C this time
Andy B and Hannah C
