Depends really. If they've given everything they could, they'll possibly be relocated. If they still have information to provide....they're likely staying. For months now the CIA/Pentagon has been all up in a tizzy about what Intelligence Assets are going to be left when we leave, where we're going to stage Drone Operations out of, etc., etc. The one thing everyone seemed to agree on is that native assets on-the-ground are staying in country and pushing their info through Middle Men...which makes it a pain in the ass to verify and leaves more room for error. Unfortunately a big majority of them are being slaughtered as we speak due to the withdrawal of US forces in Afghan. Afghanistan had pretty much been overrun by taliban all over again. Afghan security forces just don’t have the man power or the recourses to fight the insurgents.
The fast helmets were a little before his time in ranger battalion. They use OPCORE helmets which are ballistic but they won’t stop a direct 7.62 hit it can however deflect them on a perfect angle.
They never wear bump helmets. This seems to be early Iraq era, they would have the old school NSN. Later on, Opscore made the FAST helmet and Team Wendy made the Exfill, both with a high cut that doesn't cover the ears, that's so you can mount ear pro and comms to your helmet. Peltor Comtacs are probably the most widely used ear pro, there's also MSA Sordins. They also built In the NVG mount but I think they did that on earlier ones too. Edit Grammar.

I learned how to drive in Iraq in 2004, i was 18 fresh out of basic. I became a great driver after the first few months, and after 15 months deployed i was the road king. Those HUMVEEs can take a 10 inch curb going 75mph, course when i got home my Chevy Blazer could not and i got a flat tire lol. Driving in a fire fight is hectic, but after a few times it becomes pretty fun.
