Some years ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a dinner by a Russian friend. His mother made the dessert, the original Russian Napoleon.I have never eaten any tastier pastry desert since. Your Napoleon looks and I am sure also tastes like that.Thank you so much for this perfect presentation.

I have to thank you although I have not tried this recipe in particular I did use the puff pastry recipe part, and wow how good is it. I have made puff pastry the roll and fold way which is very time consuming and the results have never been worth raving about, your version is so simple and gives fantastic layers my only complaint if at all is that it makes a lot of pastry , I am guessing it would freeze well.

+Noreen Abel Thank you! It's very comfortable to have this dough in your freezer, ready to use anytime you need it. Cut the dough into parts and freeze. Take it out the night before using and thaw in the fridge. Thanks for using our recipe! :)

if you know them then please consider to make them too.
