By far the best interpretation on RUclips. The only person playing the piece that really values the effect of a clear tone, technique and dynamics instead of just vibrating the s**t out of every note. This is what makes baroque music beautiful.
This is absolutely stunning. It is hard to understand how Telemann is not as popular as Bach or Vivaldi when I hear something as achingly beautiful as this. Thanks for sharing your video; I am inspired to try to play this myself now!
Telemann was regarded as inferior to Bach and Handel back when the work from the 1700s were being revived as his work was considered to lack any historical importance because it didn't have any ties to the period;religious, relating to wars or the political situation, etc. This kept led to an initial shift in fame which has been more or less sustained upto today
Me quedé impresionado.
This is such an admirable execution with fabulous intonation & impeccable phrasing! Without anything over-accentuated!! A Most perfect+ amazing performance! Bravo! What is this exquisite Violin??
beautiful playing. The reason Telemann is not so popular as Bach or Vivaldi is that the quality of his works is less stable than that of Bach and Vivaldi. (Telemann wrote a little too much). These fantasies however show the full capacity of Telemann to produce works high quality and inspiration. Also it is interesting to note that Telemann was more experimental than Bach or Vivaldi. When you try out new things, you always risk a failure. When you play safe and never try something new, it is easier to get a guaranteed good result. Beethoven took risks and Telemann also. Composers trying new things and taking risks deserve admiration and a proper respect.
Telemanns fantasia is beautiful! But... Why I must play this? I have only 13 yo and I see that too difficult for me! You are talented, amazing and you play very pretty ☺
Telemann wrote this and Tartini wrote his Devil's trill sonata right around the same time, tho one was German and the other was Italian, the two pieces sound really similar as to motif and progression Makes you wonder if they copied each other, and if they did,who copied whom in this case? Tartini may have heard it and dreamt it (or plain written it down and told everyone he dreamt it) or Telemann copied Tartini's sonata because he thought he could experiment with it Food for thought
Interesting thought. However, I have never read of any interactions that can occur between the two. It is mostly possible that such similarity is coincidental. Telemann's Fantasia was published in 1735 and Tartini's Sonata was dated from after 1735 - 1740, I doubt Telemann's Hamburg publications will reach Tartini years since then.
Excellent ! Your playing skills - is really amazing , BUT your stile - is absolutely unsuitable to these piece. Most in the Allegro - your staccato is unacceptable in this stile of music , it sounds fussy and dismissive, but the music assumes the grandeur and sublimity. Please , work on your interpretation. I did not want to hurt your feelings , I'm sorry if I did.

KaiTakApproach Telemann is rather easy but it is really fun to play. Playing as an amateur I enjoyed it quite a lot

Telemann was once more known as Bach and Handel during the baroque period.
Bravo👏👏👏👏
Bach has gotten a better marketing department over the years.

One of the loveliest interpretations of this wunderful piece of music I’ve ever heard!!! Thank you! This is very inspiring 🎶✨!
C'est magnifique, Jean-Baptiste! Merci!

Euhm, it is allegro, not alegro
Or is it an other language?
Danh Nguyen Alegro it's Spanish, but the terms are often writen in Italiano or Alemán c:
@@ReplayCovers In Spanish is Alegre. Alegro is another thing. This is Italian, so it's Allegro.
@@geaviolin in Spanish is alegro, not alegre, I am spanish

I really like your phrasing. The bowings are different from the ones on my music. Which version/edition are you working from?
Did you add the ornaments on your own or did your music have it written in? (Only because I'm playing this now and mine doesn't have them)
incredibly smooth playing!
Outstanding! Bravo!
Beautiful violin!
Very awesome.

Un peu trop vite pour du baroque
Still beautiful be quiet
