- Out of Auckland, New Zealand, ENOCH brings a unique and powerful sound to Christian Metal with the impressive vocals of Lorraine Brodie and scathing guitar of Michael Germon. Lorraine's ability to switch from aggressive to clean vocals so quickly is impressive. Off of their 2018 EP, KILLING STARTS WHERE HATE BEGINS, this is STRANGER.
Lorraine Brodie - Vocals
Michael Germon - Guitar / Backup vocals

Lyrics;
When I was naked and cold;
you clothed Me, you gave Me a drink
When I was hungry and poor;
you gave Me something to eat.
Store up for years though you might die tonight;
Do what you want with your money, you stranger.
The borrower is slave to the lender;
Do what you want with your money, you stranger.
When I was hungry you walked right past Me;
you treat Me like dirt
when time comes, I won't know you;
but you'll know your money won't save you.
Store up for years though you might die tonight;
Do what you want with your money, you stranger.
The borrower is slave to the lender;
Do what you want with your money, you stranger.
Rich here, but roomless in My home.
Rich here, but centless in My realm.
Rich here, but roomless in My home.
Rich here, but centless in My realm.
Store up for years though you might die tonight;
Do what you want with your money, you stranger.
The borrower is slave to the lender;
Do what you want with your money, you stranger.
Rich here, but roomless in My home.
Rich here, but centless in My realm.

I never thought a Christian song could sound this heavy, I'm impressed
Yeah and Mortification during their early years.
My first band Living Cadavers will be Christian Slam which is Really Brutal Death Metal so it’ll be much heavier than Enoch.
An individual I’ll name it whatever I want.
so many christian metal bands this heavy, I also like a song called break these chains by neviah nevi heavy vocals that the rest of their other songs, female singer too.
this is funky...not even the heaviest christian metal
I love Enoch....HEAVY AND CHRISTIAN!😎❤️😇
Have you heard of Theocracy
When I was naked and cold

When I was hungry and poor
You gave me something to something to eat.

But you'll know your money won't save you
rich here but roomless in my home
rich here but ventless in my realm
Hope this is played at heaves gates, always felt this was the most important part of the bible. Not what you believe but what you do, your actions speak volumes about your soul
Guitar solo is so niiiice, her voice too... Create more of this pls 😁🤘
I'm so amazed as this voice is so stronger and heavy. God bless you Enoch, your song is great!
Saving Grace and now Enoch. Awesome christian metal from NZ. Very cool Enoch, very cool.
Thank you!
Check out Amanaki as well!
It seems that New Zealand is the birthplace of Christian Groove Metal...
Poxa, ouço metal de todas as vertentes, há mais de 20 anos e posso dizer que poucas bandas me surpreendeu tanto, insano e lindo!
She reminds me an extreme (metal) Lacey Sturm ..
All in a very good way ..
We need more like this to remind those in the secular world ..
They do have real competition .. (talent)
Thought more Dez fafara myself but obviously better clean vocals. She has a very beautiful voice hope the growls don't hurt that as much as I love those
Ahhh exactly what I was thinking of too.
My new favourite band
You guys sound awesome! It's settled, I'm moving to New Zealand. Goodbye America.
The video hurts my eyes, but the music is something ive been looking for a long time
can i join your band? I dont play any instruments but i do pottery so i could spin some clay during your shows plus my names Enoch so it would add to this hardcoreness
Sounds great!
Nice....need more of this.
Awesome
Considering adding , "rich here but centless in my realm" to a tat of my favorite quotes, only in consideration because not sure which lyric from this song I want to use
We would love to see the result. We are honored!
So awesome!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Gracias y saludos cordiales desde Mallorca para vosotros metal cross

Fight me!!!

KostisPlayz Huh? 😂😂

Eu amo ela 🖤
started the tat for this song finally
I'm new here but Im really liking this ! I don't know how I'm here! But can somebody please tell me about this Christian music? Why is everyone commenting this?
It is not Christian. It is worldly music with some Christian text parallels but no christlike message. If you search Jesus in this kind of music you re off the way. Read the bible and go to a church which holds to the word of god
@@dv4740 This type of music can hold a gospel message. Don't say that it can't. The lyrics of this song argue that money is worthless in eternity, which is a biblical concept.
I do agree that music isn't the best way to grow in knowledge and understanding of God, but it can help in that. Ultimately, reading the bible, prayer, and discussion and fellowship with other Christians are more important to growth.
WOW!!!!! That is one powerfully, awesome this song is, I can't even think of a proper word. I love this 😂😢
If anyone is looking for another Christian Metal band I would highly suggest " Laying the Demon to Rest" by Theocracy I was told about Enoch so I'm telling y'all about Theocracy and I can't believe that, that's a girl sing that
NICE
Put the rich here line gonna be adding Enoch use it to form a cross with the lyrics then tie it together with vine with thorns and few flowers
Gaaaah so sick
For a second ,I thought they were covering the Holy Soldier tune !!
Great video. Had a little trouble with the meaning of the song but I'll figure it out with multiple listens.
i know this is very late, but i hope it helps shed some light on the meaning. they're referring to luke 12:16-21, matthew 7:21-23, luke 6:24-25, matthew 25:34-46, &proverbs 22:7.
@@imaybeafreakbutimaJesusfreak Thank you :)

How join for your web?
I wonder where their church is.
Enoch's newest song, check it out everyone!! ruclips.net/video/N7sIEX-cHQI/видео.html
the effects guy was way more into it than the band or crowd, but fun track!
Brutal
No new music since 2019? I hope this band didn’t deform already…
New music coming very soon!
LOL in a sad way. The message of this song? "Do what you want". Interesting! Same message from the snake. It is not a worship of Jesus but a selfworship. It is pleasing the flesh. It is all about what you get and how you feel.
That is not the message of the song. The message is your money can't save you when you stand in front of the judgement seat;
"when time comes, I won't know you;
but you'll know your money won't save you."
@@MetalCross ok understand it know. Hmmmmmm
This is about as Christian as a kiss from Judas. Be not conformed to the world, nor the things of the world. Let the mind of CHRIST dwell in you .......
And you are the theological expert?
Explain to us how this is not Christian from -- the text!
Lets start with Psalm 150
I suppose Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" is not "Christian" because?
Many assert that there are some pretty EVIL chords in that composition!
Should we also discuss Isaiah 45:7?
kinda like korn ….
The engineering on this makes me angry. Its horrible on a probably great song.
haha this sucks
Sorry... this is not Christian, no matter if you put the word"Christian" in it. Listen to her vocals. Sounds like a demon. Is this the music hat gives glory to God? Is this something the King of the Universe would want to hear in His throne room? Don't be mislead. Even Satan can appear as an Angel of Light.
We don’t always have to be the quiet unassertive guys, we too become angry
One question: What feelings does this music produce? Rage/anger/wrath! Is that christianlike? This bible text describes a man before he followed Jesus and was a Sinner.
"...among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
Ephesians 2:3 NKJV
Hardrock and all Kinds of metal produce the opposite fruit of what Jesus is and we ought to become. Not gentleness, humblness and christian charity but. A merciless anger and selflove which is a form of pride(the first great sin). Dont be fooled.
"For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."
Galatians 6:8 NKJV
Repent and turn to Jesus. He can save you. Have faith in him and search him in the bible and in honest prayer!
I'd be willing to bet that 90% of these ''christian'' bands aren't really Christian.
Hmmm. Interesting comment. So what you're really saying is 90% of people in Christian bands aren't really Christian. What brings you to that conclusion?
I didn't say they weren't, I'd just be willing to bet they ''probably'' aren't. I love metal and I'm Christian by the way and I love Metal Cross. Tim Labesis from As I Lay Dying said that 90% of the so called Christians band he toured with were not Christians. We have a lot of fake Christians now everywhere. I watch bands in interviews and they shy away from being Christian. A lot of bands have lyrics that have nothing to do with Jesus Christ and I find that very sad. I sound like a extreme right wing Christian but I'm not. Paul said that a lot that we do is acceptable, but not beneficial. I find some bands music not beneficial to my soul. I do love Metal Cross and Listen to your channel. God Bless you.
Most of these bands watching their interviews don't even want to talk about Jesus. Tim Labesis said in a interview that 90% of bands he toured with were not Christians. I do love Metal Cross, and watch your channel. It's just my opinion, I may be wrong, but we have lots of fake Christians these days. God bless you Metal Cross.
@@astronomy7911 Yeah, there are a lot of fake Christians our there. Most don't even know they're fake. What I mean is, they are trying to live the "Chrisitian" life but have never accepted Jesus as their Lord.
Matthew 7:22-23; Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
As far as Tim Lambesis goes, he has shown to be a fraud and a liar (put a hit out on his wife...seriously messed up). So I don't put much faith in what Lambesis says. After he got caught and admitted he wasn't really a Christian, the best way to justify his lie was to say 90% of Christian bands aren't really Christian anyway. Makes him look better.
I meet a lot of bands and know a lot of the members. I've prayed with Impending Doom and Wolves At The Gate before concerts and sat down and talked with Fit For A King, For Today, Phinehas and more. And while some band members aren't as mature as others in their faith, I truly believe they are Christian. You can see it. True, not every song is going to be about Jesus and really, it's only God that can say if a person is saved or not. I guess we'll see when we get to heaven :)
Blessings Bro!
@@astronomy7911 I don't believe to Tim Lambesis; he already cheated us once, it's obvious that he can do it again...
