REJUVENATE AGING IMMUNE SYSTEMS [2021]

- Опубликовано: 8 июл 2024
- The key to the immune system is the thymus, a small organ located behind the sternum. In today’s video, we’ll be discussing a new study that looks at regenerating function thymic tissue, thereby rejuvenating the immune system.
We’ll start out by reexamining what the thymus is and what it does, and we’ll also cover what happens to the thymus as we age and the impact that an aging thymus has on the immune system. Then we’ll talk about efforts that scientists and research made trying to discover ways the regenerate thymic tissue, including a recent study that has uncovered a new technique.
This new research hold great promise for giving aging immune systems a reboot. And for extending the human lifespan.

Could you share your supplement regimen? We all are different but curious. Dr. Brad Stanfield shares his - at least he does list them etc.
I did a video on supplements: ruclips.net/video/pOQGb_dvVB0/видео.html
Melatonin inhibits rac1 and regrows the thymus. Melatonin has a good safety profile and it's a sirtuin activator. As we age we produce less melatonin. Personally I think it's a no brainer to supplement with melatonin as we age.
I'm guessing this only works if you have a thymus. A lot of people have had complete thymectomy during heart surgery without their knowledge.
@Lucky: Or you can get plenty of sunshine in the morning. That's how/when melatonin is produced.
Pearson and Shaw suggested boosting Human Growth Hormone production with L-Arginine or L-Ornithine in order to regenerate the Thymus gland way back in 1982. Good to hear current research is validating that idea and finding additional benefits and enhancements to the protocol.
Agradecido en que todos tus videos tengan una muy buena traducción al español y de manera automatica.
Thank you for the video once again
Yay new credible study!
Another good topic 👏
Thank you
I'm with you 🔥 💯
Lance I became so familiar with your values videos. I appreciated your informations.
please talk again about your personal commandment about your health .
I promise I'll come back to that. But I have a few other videos that I want to make first.
“Thump your Thymus, Thump your Thymus, Thump…” - gently tap sternum to stimulate immune system
- 1970’s hippie wisdom passed on to ya’ll
Yep, it seems to have worked for me!
Body talk ♡
Yeah, I remember that.
I play the drums and have been using my sternum and chest as a drum kit for literally 25 years.. I wander if this is why my immune system seems strong lol had measles and meningitis and still standing
Lance, a 2019 study headed by Janet Lord (Prof. of Immune cell biology) showed that older long term execisers, in this case cyclists, generated T cell on par with young people, suggesting preserved thymic function. Don't know if one can rejuvinate poor thymic output by taking up exercise, but this study is also consistent with other studies showing preservation of important markers of aging when one exrercises. More recent work by R. Houtkooper's lab showing that sufficeint exercise in 65 to 80 yo increased NAD+ levels to youthfull (20 to 30 yo) levels. I appreciate Fahey's work, but pill development/$$$ seems to a big part of motivation.
I disagree. I think that longevity is the ultimate goal, but it seems perfectly rational to me that researchers want to make money from their research. Nobody works for free.
@@LanceHitchings researchers at universities are often funded. In part by taxpayers at federal and state levels. Generally well paid. I expect them to be objective regardless of funding source. Otherwise they aren't doing science.
@@peterz53 researchers compete for grants. not everyone can get funding. and it's not even what lance said, the money lost from failed trials is astronomical. it's simply not feasible to have the majority of studies be not-for-profit.
Yeah, pill development = RIO, and is why the money is put forward, simple business…
But at least the research gleams information.
@@peterz53 bro get your facts straight before coming in all side ways buddy people are living universities to go to private business cuz they pay more come on man where did you get your info
Greg Fahy, is a key person, but we are all basically useless in getting his work complete.
Lance, are you familiar with the research that showed how rapamycin can boost an aging immune system?
Not just supplement but can you share your whole lifestyle regimen (excercise, diet, PEDs if any, etc.) thats been helping you look and stay younger than your age, please.
Am posting a video tomorrow that answers all these questions.
If a short fast of a few days is said to renew the immune system from the marrow, would this involve a depletion triggering thymus regeneration and thus indicate another pathway?
Harp playing is also a means of increase thymus health
LANCE!!!!
Huge news: Researchers at Juntendo University in Japan have made a Breakthrough in removing senescent cells. News just announced today (Dec 12, 2021). This looks really exciting!
Thanks for the heads-up. Is this the one with the peptide vaccine?
Wondering what effect thymosin alpha 1 would have on the regeneration of the thymus
I doubt he knows anything about Thymosin alpha-1, or any other peptide for that matter. And they've been around for decades and used by millions of people. Ignorance is a choice.
Thoughts of thymosin alpha peptide therapy for thymus growth?
Never heard of it, have to look into it.
Could you tell me what are your hábits?
Lots of theory but i want to know the rituals.
Way to detailed to go into here. But they're MY habits, they probably won't work for you, because I've tweaked them to fit me, not you. Figure out your own best practices.
cistanche good for thymus
I had signed up for the TRIIMX study ... but didn't get in.
Same here. Even though I've talked with Dr. Fahy.
My sons thymus was taken as a newborn during heart surgery. Is there anyone you might direct me to who could help my son? I've been giving him several supplements for years now which have helped some but he is still unable to build immunity to vaccines like he used and according to studies these kids and adults now have increased risks of infections and diseases.
As a side note, your thymus is largest before puberty. Unfortunately, some studies preface their article with misinformation, saying it shrinks right after birth.
I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I had no idea that was even done and it sounds criminal to me. Unfortunately, I know of no one who can help, my contacts are rather minimal. I truly wish I could help.
Why not use injectable Thymalin and Epitalon?
I have read about this. It's too bad science decided not to do follow up the studies. They redirected their attention to chronic disease management.
Really inspired from your video and regularly watching them. However, you have never mentioned about reversing about grey hairs and hair loss? Is there anything?
Check into red light therapy. The best book I've found is, Red Light Therapy by Ari Whitten.
Don't forget the Thymus Thump Technique
I haven't heard about that. Please explain.
Are you aware of the studies regarding Beta Glucan.....specifically Transfer Point Beta Glucan 300 1.3d 1,6d? Would love to see you do a video on your take regarding the studies etc....
No, I'm not aware. I'll have to check it out. Anything else that'll lead me in the right direction?
