I grew up when punk first started. The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Buzzcocks. Bad Religion is right up there with the legends of punk rock. This song and energy is unforgettable.
I'm not a huge fan of the band but man this particular live recording sticks out to me for some reason. The nonchalantness as he stumbled through the chorus just fucking nails it for me and I don't really know why. Beautifully written song. Have yet to find anything this quality in their entire catalogue.
Back when they didn't play the lead guitar replicating the bassline in the beginning. I personally think You sounds better without it. But no complaints here.
Greg Graffin was one of the first shape shifting punkers of the time, shirt changes so fast, you blink and you've missed the magic. Check out, thriller book, Witness in West Virginia, by Thomas C. Stuhr

@@psy06¡EXPLOITED NAZIS!
This is beautiful.
This is the most beautiful thing in the whole fuckin’ world ;)
This is actually the best punk song ever both in theme and musically
This song is so much better the guitar isn’t copying the bass riff intro
totally agree bro!! this is one of the few videos where they play the song like in the album.
Back when the sound was good and raw and full of energy. They are much older now so i accept it.
I first heard this from Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2, 23 years ago.
This song is what got me into melodic hardcore
Do you know any more melodic hardcore bands?
@@Snipez_oZ intensity, satanic Surfers, spermbirds, pennywise milencolin, hi-standard.
Melodic Hardcore And skate punk is basically The Same.
This is a huge help thank you so much
Dude, they invented melodic hardcore
@@Snipez_oZif you love bad religion I recommend pennywise and nofx

They always resolve any off time bits, that's why it sticks in your head...check out Generator
dunno how you could listen to this song and not love the entire No Control album, not like the songs are all too different to be honest.
Punk rock!
this is one of the greatest punk songs of all time and this performance slaps
This is their best song, and this video so far the best I've seen. For me, of course
im old
Pedro Santos damn ... me too lol

OMG. Thank you so much for this!
im proud to say that i got to see them in concert, rather close might i add
I got into punk via Rise Against but then I discovered Bad Religion, both bands kick ass!
Absolutely, have you seen Bad Religion Live at Palladium? There's Tim from Rise Against featuring in the song "Let Them Eat War".
great song!
Uuff que bestiales.. aún vigentes ... vamoooo. Una de mis primeras bandas de punk en oír por allá por el 96
Thank you Bad Religion. Brutal!
Still listen to it, when i go skate.

Honestly
Yep
Yeah, there are a select few shows in 2013 where they reverted to this, because Hetson was out and dimkich not yet hired
de arrepiar!
Greg seems like the cool uncle I never had.

The green shirt gig might have been at Bizarre Festival Gießen/Germany 1991
When Bobby still had some energy
Who's bobby?

What's with the random parts where it's a completely difference show where he's in a green shirt..
they mixed images from different shows during the no control tour. the result is what we can find here (or in the full no control vhs).
He looks like Johnny Rotten)))
Definitely not 1989. That’s old Schayer’s style is after 1990.
hinksyyyyyyyy
I’m really confused as to why he sounds Scottish when he sings.. I was convinced he was Scottish.. so confused
0:27 does he hit him? Lol
Shake head!
