  • Apapransa is a popular Ghanaian dish. In recent times, it has become a party staple. A typical Ghanaian traditional marriage ceremony, outdooring or birthday party will have this dish on the menu. Almost every time I make palm nut soup, I make this meal with part of the soup. In this recipe, I take you through how you can make your own aburosam (roasted corn flour) The actual aparansa is very easy to make once you have your soup and flour.
    Ingredients
    4 quarts palm nut soup
3 cups roasted corn flour (aburosam)
4 small herrings, deboned and broken up
4 crabs (I used blue crabs)
    salt to taste
