This sermon confirmed to me that i have been right about blocking ALL the negative people in my life!! I do believe God, HIMSELF, laid His hand on my phone so much that I had to do a factory reset and ALL numbers were lost!!! Now my life is so peaceful!! Since this past July, 2018, I became so frustrated with listening to family and friends that were sucking the spirit out of me. I didn't block my Mom (I just ignore her call and wait until I am strong enough to listen to her). I am not a phone person ( I don't like gossiping people unless we're going to gossip about Jesus}! I'm 69 years young, and I don't have time for anything but what God wants me to do!!! I named the voice in my head Lizzy...and Children of God, if you haven't done it yet, please identify it....it really works!!! Thank you Chet Pete for this much needed sermon!!! God Bless you, your ministry and your beautiful family!! I also like that you said Amen 3 times; just as I have done all my life in respect for the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit!!! I've struggled so much with the lies of inner dialogue, and this message was a great reminder to not listen to that. And this whole message was so timely for me with deciding to "block/ignore" certain people who are not allowing me to hear God's answer. SO so good!!! Great job, Pete! Pastor Furtick.... you have an amazing gift to be able to see, seek, and bring those whom God has called to share His word. Pastor Chet brought an awesome word! And from the praises of agreement in the crowd... I’m not the only one who needed to hear it. I’ve been on my knees begging to hear God’s voice. I went through a bad season, and in the mist of that, I couldn’t hear His voice. When that season passed, I realized I couldn’t hear God’s voice. So I’d literally cry tears, in prayers, begging to give me an ear to hear, eyes to see, and a spirit of discernment to know His word from my own lies or the lies of the enemy. What I realized in the past month or so is that I came out of that storm... but I still had debris on me. That debris is what is blocking God’s voice. Struggling to overcome that is now the challenge. Going through the storm was a test of my faith in God. Overcoming the debris is God’s faith in me. So I’m gonna start naming my pieces of debris, and I’m gonna start shedding it, blocking it, punt kicking it, and running it off because they/it has no authority over my life! God is good!!

Been feeling discouraged lately because I thought God just doesn't want to speak to me. But I hear him speak to other whether propheticaly through leaders or directly. I've stopped asking him to speak to me through someone in conferences that I attend because I didnt want to be disappointed anymore. Thank you for reminding me that whether I don't hear nothing back. He still hears me. That last point about how he can still point you out from a crowd spoke measures in my life. Thank you

Love this tactic of naming the enemy in your mind that is attacking your household. In all reality, it is Satan who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but sometimes we are destroying ourselves with horrible thoughts and anxieties that God never meant for us to sit and listen to. So I'm going to tell Gollum to go back to the pit of hell and stop bothering this child of God every time a destructive thought comes that goes against the Word and Will of God!
Wow! The devil is a liar. This sermon spoke to my soul especially since my biggest prayer right now has been for God to restore my marriage. But I hear "your prayers aren't working" "God doesnt want to restore your marriage" "you have never been equally yoked" .... but I say TODAY ... devil with a lower case d ... you are a liar! God is going to restore my marriage for HE is a covenant keeping God! There is nothing impossible or too big for God. Ask and it shall be received ... is what God says. God will make all this work for my good. Get behind me satan, you are a stumbling block to me! I serve a mighty God who will never leave nor forsake me. God is for my marriage because HE is the creator of marriage!

Nothing you have done can stop God from hearing you. You may feel like you can't hear him, but he hears you. He will stop in his tracks. Nothing can block him from hearing you.
