This is me! Wow! I've been in a season where God literally gave me an AV 3 critical 100 heart block to get my attention! All the things I was doing were good things but it was too much! Aside from being wife and grandma I work FT professional career, lead a non profit ministry to women struggling with substance abuse. So many in our state #1 in overdose deaths and I've been passionate about changing that by showing them Jesus! Play keys for worship ministry, serve on mission team, the list goes on. New aesthetic an unrushed life. It was so gard for me to comprehend who really Jesus was, like for a long time, I didn't know Him, or about Him. I only thought so..
"... the unforced rhythms of grace..." - I love that translation; it reminds me that I don't need to worry about hurrying when God is calling me to walk, daily, in step with His Spirit. This way I begin to see Him at work in places I might have missed His influence otherwise.
This is going on in my life rn. 😅god had me in a season of building me this summer has been so crazy and fast but I am so thankful for a new season more patients more kindness more love.

This is such a great message. I grew up in the NJ/NY area. In 1997 I ran the New York Marathon. I thought I knew the city. It was not until I slowed down and looked around that I really saw the city.
Life is just in general you wake up, I pray I pray throughout the day. Keep me safe, watching my children watching my grandchildren cleaning gardening always cleaning cooking. I’m a widow my husband was a 9/11, or it’s just a struggle every day but I brush myself off I get myself through it and I do what I have to do because it’s life. Sometimes I try to rest but my mind just doesn’t stop. It will not shut off, but I pray to God, please help me and give me the strength. Amen. Life Church has come into my life and it’s making. such a difference for me so I thank you. I bless you and God has been in my life forever. I feel him 1000% plus so thank you. As always, God knows just what I need and when I need it. I am on a journey of grief as my father declines with cancer. My parents don't live near me so it's been difficult to not be there with them. All of the uncertainty can make me a little wacky doodle raising my anxiety, then God shows me visually how He does have me in His arms of comfort and how I will never be Fatherless. Staying busy and missing balance is an easy escape goat of not wanting to feel the pain (grief). I'm so grateful for our Fathers unfailing love and sovereignty, the way He catches my tears and heals my heart. I am definitely using the prayer Pastor Craig. That's all I want is to harvest all of His fruits-- more of Him and a lot less of me.

As always, God knows just what I need and when I need it. I am on a journey of grief as my father declines with cancer. My parents don't live near me so it's been difficult to not be there with them.
All of the uncertainty can make me a little wacky doodle raising my anxiety, then God shows me visually how He does have me in His arms of comfort and how I will never be Fatherless.
Staying busy and missing balance is an easy escape goat of not wanting to feel the pain (grief).
I'm so grateful for our Fathers unfailing love and sovereignty, the way He catches my tears and heals my heart.
I am definitely using the prayer Pastor Craig. That's all I want is to harvest all of His fruits-- more of Him and a lot less of me.
