The speed update and find remote is all I really needed, already bought it myself but I wanted to see what other people were saying about it. I love mine.
Oh yeah. The last one is good. This is just a nice upgrade bc of the new processor and remote. So far I am really enjoying the new remote and launch features.
@@thestreamingadvisor I am not going to upgrade to the 2024 model just because of a backlit remote and other minor upgrades. If the new model eventually goes on sale I might decide to get the new 2024 model. But I feel I can spend $99.00 plus tax on something else.
@@thestreamingadvisor The ROKU Ultra 2024 is on sale for $79.00 at Best Buy and Amazon. But my previous models work just fine. I have good internet and WI FI so I'm good to go.
You did not miss it. There is not a port for one. I guess there is powerfully enough hardware to handle things without the need for so cards anymore. But that’s a question I will ask the company about.
My remote has been charging, new right out of the box before setting up the box itself or pairing first, for over 12 hours and it still keeps blinking??!!!!! Why won't it complete charging??!! Roku states it takes 5.5 hours to do a full charge.
@CallardAndBowser the blinking doesn't need it needs to be charged it means trying to pair it I would try unplugging your Roku for a minute and plugging it back in and see if it all comes together.

Great video please keep up the great work
Thank you. I'll keep plugging.
@@thestreamingadvisor you’re welcome

@@michaelwyckoff7593 yeah it's not like it will transform the way you watch TV or anything.

I have this one in my living room and a Beelink GT Pro in my bedroom hooked to Comcast. Comcast can really sit them both off with the high speed.
I haven't been able to find the ram amount for this model.
Is it still 2gb or has it been upgraded to a higher amount?
I don't know if it really matters? Everything is faster, that's all I really needed. I've gotten so tired of slow streaming devices.
let me know when they put a GB port on the back. No speed test??
It's a streaming device why would you need a speed test?? Lmao
@@54carlje I don't think there is a speed test app for the Roku anymore. I used to use one but it was one of those little private channels
I may have missed it, but does it have Micro SD chip support?

Does it work with Netflix Atmos? Previous Ultras do not.
From what I read is no… 😢
I wish I could tell you. But I don't have a system to test it.
Too rich for my blood :)
Guys, do you recommend it to me and what is better than it?
@khaledalqweani9972 if you need a new one you can't go wrong. If you like tinkering and side loading, Fire TV or Google TV devices run better.
Still no 3rd party apps, right ?
@@BOBHALLJR Nope. That's the good old days.
No lossless audio pass through for apps like Plex….too bad, I would have upgrade instead it will be a Shield or Zidoo.
Roku is a good solid product, but it's not a specialty audio performance mixer. It's priced and meant for plug and play.
@@thestreamingadvisorbut the Shield from 5 years ago has better capability then the new Roku.
