Julian just hates The Strokes now I feel. He's had bad blood with Fab and Nick in different times when they were together, and moreso I think he got tired of the Stroke's sound.

honestly it’s probably just a combination of aging + lighting. met him at one of his shows a few days before this video was filmed and he looked fine, plus he’s talked a lot lately about how seriously he takes his health now. i know there’s no way to really know how he’s doing but it doesn’t seem like he’s fallen back to old habits.

Kuroroe Yeah, for me, a lot of Albert's stuff is generic and boring. But he still has gems. I very much enjoy songs on this album, far away truths, muted beatings? And the iconic epitome strokes sounding love song(the best one in my opinion and yet I can't recall the name)
The intro is Just awesome, the rest is ok, I just listen to the intro and start over LOL

I shared that sentiment at first. He may of got into singing a little too late. Age, deterioration and the advantage of early foundations. I don't think it's great. But I really like it this album. Also, appreciate the effort, quality writing, execution just tenacity to do it. Very admirable.
