What about white smoke periodically while under heavy loads/hard pulls ?
I can see soot build up in the end of my stack pipe .
Also when a force regen was performed via computer connected to the ECM a mechanic pointed out that Aftertreatment DPF outlet temp was higher than the intake temp which is an issue .

So I unclamped mine and put it back on and it did the regeneration thing but my check engine light is still on for “dpf filter” any help?

I’ve had a code uo11a for 2000 miles and tailpipe is dirty but all kinds of power. Obviously no regen with code. Why is it not plugged and in limp mode?

Richard, this sounds like it could be the following:
Lost communication with Exhaust Gas Sensor Module
Open in Controller Area Network (CAN) Positive or Negative
      Short in CAN bus system
Loss of power or ground to Exhaust Gas Sensor Module
      A Faulty Module
If you have any more questions, you can give us a call at 844-447-1453! Our experts will be able to help you walk through it and get you a more personalized answer based on your specific symptoms!

Can a bad or cracked DPF cause white smoke during a hard pull/pulling up a hill?

No check engine lights, no codes. EGR valve replaced a week ago. Less smoke and not as often as before, but still smokey on hard pulls.

Notice any loss of coolant? If so, check your head gasket or your EGR Cooler.

@@Highwayandheavyparts coolant seems to be okay. Haven’t had to refill the coolant tank at all since EGR valve has been replaced two weeks. When they originally took the valve off it was packed with dry soot.

Would a blocked filter stop vehicle from starting?

It may be possible the DPF is clogged. You may want to take your vehicle into your nearest repair shop for testing.
