Ozymandis from watchmen? He wanted to bring world peace.Doc Ock from Spiderman 2? Wanted to create infinite renewable energy for the world. Baron Zemo from Captain America civil war? Simple pure revenge.
Ozymandias is a psychopathic villain in the true sense. He condemns all those people to death on a whim which he acknowledges in the comic may not even make any difference anyway. Rather than confide in his team his fears, he acts alone and senselessly kills millions of people. He appoints himself judge, jury and executioner in direct opposition to everything The Watchmen supposedly stood for, and for which Rorschach gives his life for. His justification is paper thin, in reality his ego dictated his course of action, over and above any rarified sense of what is right.
In the film Ozy was an evil sociopath, but in the comic I see him less as a villain but more as one of the ageing superheroes who murders his morality and takes it upon himself to do what no one else will or can.
I've always loved Magneto as a character. Even though he was a "bad guy" in the X-Men for the most part, he was doing it for what he perceived to be the greater good of his kind. Whenever greater threats would rear their heads, he would ultimately team up with the X-Men to try and ensure their survival as a whole, which definitely makes him more of an "anti-hero" than a villain in my book.
@@whatever305j He is always in the top 3 villains of Marvel Comics. It's some configuration of Magneto, Green Goblin, and Doctor Doom as the top 3 villains.
Heath Ledger (The Joker),he proved that he could take one of the most good and nice people in Gotham and make them evil. Because it's the truth sometimes good guys turn into bad ones.
Yes, because his motive was that the fact that innocence can be broken, means there is no innocence. If there is random injustice, there is no justice (Psychology of the Joker).
Celticsorcerer 1 Yeah, when his feelings get hurt he goes off to kill several heroes. You’d think he’d be more grateful if he was told when he was a kid, there was a bomb on his cape and Mr. Incredible kept him from blowing to bits in midair.
Um no. Kahn was a product of eugenics and was completely biased that his race was superior and thereby he had the right to rule. He and his crew were rescued by the Enterprise which he then tried to murder the crew and take over the ship. He deserved to be stranded on that planet even if the star went nova forcing a harsh existence on him. The Kahn of the Into Darkness universe is a different story but he would probably be the same murderous racist megalomaniac if given the opportunity.
@@1ManNamedDan You have to understand that in his mind this is completely logical. When he was ruling the earth even though it was admitted his way of ruling was a bit cruel that it was still a time of great peace and NO WAR. Not to mention the fact that all he was trying to do was save his family who were dying after he was promised a safe planet to live on.
You know what is Really sad about Andrew? His biggest Collapse only happened because he felt responsible for the Death of his best friend and After that he couldnt get his mother the medicaments she needed. I never saw him as a villain. He even talked about doing good with the powers Early in the Movie. He is more of a Fallen Hero.
I 100% agree with Andrew from Chronicle. He's just someone who's simply had enough, he was bullied, had a dad who beat him up and he finally received the strength to do something about it. I wouldn't say he used his powers for evil. He sees himself as superior because those that wronged him believed they were superior to him. After enduring all that shit for all his life he developed an eye for an eye philosophy. This movie had a lesson, you keep ratting someones cage they will eventually bite back.
#1 should be jigsaw..or whatever his name was.. Reason: he just wanted revenge..from people who hurt someone directly related to him, or that person hurt someone..or themselves..it kinda makes me mad that he wasent in here. He has so many good reasons on why he dose this
but he also killed his crew in the process. one by one. almost as if revenge. it's one thing to be selfish but at the cost of others. that betrayal was not justifiable
Recently watched "The Rock" again. It's hard to see Ed Harris' character as anything other than a noble man fighting for the justice of his fallen brothers. Would definitely have included him on this list.
I agree with Magneto being in the first spot. He truly suffered a shitload in his life. Xavier will never understand the harshness of human kind(like what Magneto witnessed) and that is what makes Xavier ignorant and naive. Yes he is indeed a wise individual, but will never see the world in the same perspective as Magneto has. Magneto came across good people, both human and mutant, but he has endured the true evil of both.
The scene where a teenage mutant asks Magneto why he doesn't tatoo if he's so proud being a mutant with him showing the number on his arm saying "I've been marked once, my dear..." is so awesome!
So you can get behind him killing half the universe because he loves Death but not because he is aware of the eventual self destruction of societies due to a lack of resources?
Little Bill Daggett from "Unforgiven." A lawman just trying to prevent his town, where he was building a house and planning to retire, from being overrun by murderers.
General Zod - Man of Steel, Queen Freya - The Huntsman: Winter`s War, The Grinch - How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Khan Noonian Singh - Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, Loki - the MCU, Richmond Valentine - Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Lizard - The Amazing Spider-Man and Davy Jones - Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man`s Chest.
I understand him trying to save the universe from resource exhaustion but killing half the universe is so absurd but I guess his motives did make sense
I think that’s what makes him such an effective villain. There are plenty of villains out there that do horrid things. The Joker wants the world to burn in anarchy, Caesar wants to rule Vegas and the Reapers want to eradicate AI to protect life. But Ozymandias is so effective because he doesn’t tell you his plan until it’s complete, and while truly monstrous, it’s extremely hard to argue against. Caesar cloaks his evil in a robe of philosophical argumentation and the Reapers are deliberately Lovecraftian, but Ozymandias has hard evidence that what he has done is right, because he single handedly stopped a nuclear war.
Lawrence Stevens his father was killed by his uncle who was the king of Wakanda, he lived in a nation where its systematically oppressive, and he exercised his right at competing for the thrown...he wanted to level the playing field for his ppl...I think that's VERY justifiable
Kingjaymo2k11 first I think it's worth pointing out he burnt the fields of the heart shaped earb to help keep power. Second it wasn't about levelling the planning it was about out right generside also you know that argument about looking out for his people is the same one that is used by all kinds of mass murders
Justifiable. None of these villains were right. All were justifiable. Except Syndrome, that was just stupid. But Killmonger Def had the right to feel what he felt and his logic wasn't as flawed as many others on this list. War happens buddy. He wanted to wage war on the imperialist governments of the world. Some would call him a hero.
The Planet of the Apes franchise actually began back in the 1960s. But yes I do agree that Kobra had good reasons to start a war against humans on the new movies.
What about the Phantasm from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm? She wanted to avenge the death of her father by the Valestra mob and (before he was) the Joker.
Not to mention his family actually being slaughtered in front of him, fired from his job and getting ousted from society just because he saved a man from being crushed by a bucket.
I love good villains in movies, because the heroes in movies so often have such a simplistic black and white view of life, which is unrealistic. Real life is so much more complex, and good movie villains embody that complexity. Our desire to see things as simple and to have everything turn out for good is why the hero must always triumph.
Sandman, Spiderman 3. All I wanted was to take care of his poor sick child. He got himself into trouble doing so but no matter what he tried to help her!!! @@StormhawkJuzo, btw, yes, I thought of that possibility. To me he's not even a villain. His entire motivation in Dead Man's Chest is just to make Jack repay his debt to him. Jack cheated him and betrayed their agreement. In At World's End, Jones is pretty much a slave to Beckett and his company, while trying to get justified revenge on Jack and Calypso.
Bram Stoker's Dracula with humans tricking his wife into thinking that he was dead which led to her taking her own life. Biff being wronged by the McFlys only to find out that Marty has been breaking the laws of physics in order to alter the timeline to benefit his family rather than allowing things to play out as they were meant to, so Biff settles the score by altering the timeline and gets his revenge on the McFly family.
wee bit late but how about davy jones? jack sparrow didnt pay his debt, he looked after the dead at sea for 10 years for the love of his life, only to find said love to have left him.
*I 100% disagree on Syndrome, he wasn't justified AT ALL. Buddy was a fanatic (among likely many) who admired Mr. Incredible above all superheroes and enthusiastically sought to help clearly without thinking the consequences through.* And yet, he was also a CHILD. Kids being taken under the wing of vigilantes and trained to frequently fight alongside them in conflicts where they could realistically die is only entertaining and/or redeeming in the realm of fiction for a reason. If Batman & Robin for example did this in a world perceived by the audience (us) as a more grounded take on superhero life/politics, the overwhelming sane majority would look at him and most likely think "WTF is wrong with you?!" As much as I would've loved to see Robin, Nightwing, or Batgirl in *TDK* trilogy, the fact is, that would've been grossly unrealistic (even for an already outlandish series) and Nolan designed his Batman to be closer to semi-plausible. Buddy had a mom who didn't know what he was doing and nearly got himself killed by one of Mr. Incredible's recurring foes. Rejecting him was the most responsible thing Robert could've done and he wasn't responsible for Buddy's actions. This brat chose to take Robert's rejection to the extreme, chose to invent weapons to sell to other countries, chose to create machines that killed countless Supers, and chose to attempt to blow up a plane with children aboard. Lastly, he chose to go through with a plan involving a giant robot (He demonstrably would've failed anyway) threatening to kill countless innocents, all for this fundamentally illogical idea to earn himself glory + share his technology globally. *1) What govt. would let their public use such tech? 2) How would Syndrome market/distribute it? 3) What semi-competent authority wouldn't brand him a criminal? 4) A world where "everyone's super" would inevitably lead to chaos.* *Verdict: Syndrome is a petty man-child who squandered his intellect and used his hurt feelings as an excuse to murder.*
Syndrome was not justified I don't care what people say he was not ready to be a sidekick like Mr. incredible said which is proved by him almost being killed by a supervillain when a bomb was placed on his cape another reason for the saying no capes. Which is also why Mr. incredible was sued along with all other superheroes literally ending the job I'm surprised supervillains did take over the world also do you forget he murder at least 30 others for fun, and they attack a city with his robot causing known destruction at death.
Syndrome was basically an angry fan boy. He also didn't really care about being a superhero, he just wanted the fame that came with being "Incredi-boy." While Mr. Incredible could have told him better, Buddy was doomed from the start.
Well, Mr. Incredible should've denied it more politely. I'm not justifying Syndrome's actions for wanting to kill every super but it could've been prevented.
If you wake up tomorrow stuck in one of those traps maybe than you can have an opinion if your bones are broken while you bleed out, otherwise stop having that bullshit generic “John Kramer helps people” narrative. He's not a villain with a good cause he's just an asshole who thinks he's god. "Dont try to be God" said by a man who isnt god.
Find it pretty unbelievable that General Hummel, played by Ed Harris in "The Rock" didn't make this list. An American war hero who's pissed off because of the 83 marines who died under his command were completely dismissed. Their families were lied to and they weren't even given a military burial. If there's any reason to hold a gripe I would think that dismissing and disregarding the soldiers who died for our country would be one. Hummel didn't make the list but Syndrome, a little geek who's mad at the world because he's not a "Super-Hero" does?? LoL!!
It has been ages, since the last time I have seen the Rock. But didn't he bluffed the whole thing and the crew mutenered as a reaction? So all in all not necessarily a villain per se.
Kobba was a name that I was hoping I would hear on this list 'cause I felt so bad for him! The thing I feel bad about when it comes to Magneto is that he was literally ripped away from his mother during the war which contributed to his evilness.
Sandman, Spiderman 3. If there is one "villian" I can side with and empathize with, it is that man. I'd do the same and more for my daughter.. -Soul Horse

He and Holland were the only good parts to the film....and RDJs cameo, too.
I don't feel good
TOO SOON
Groomie no cuz thanos has all the time he want
Elrosh Debach it was sad but not a lot cause we know that spidey will come back 😅😅😅😅😅
I don't know what's happening, I don't wanna go, sir please
"Steve-"
Vulture’s character performance and motives is just pure brilliant by the director, Michael keaton, and Marvel
#1 The Grinch.
Tabby Roberts s
Ozymandis from watchmen? He wanted to bring world peace.Doc Ock from Spiderman 2? Wanted to create infinite renewable energy for the world. Baron Zemo from Captain America civil war? Simple pure revenge.
no, Ozy is not, he is a monster, i dont care if it worked, he deserves any horrible death
@@ellnats then you don't understand a thing about him
Ozymandias is a psychopathic villain in the true sense.
In the film Ozy was an evil sociopath, but in the comic I see him less as a villain but more as one of the ageing superheroes who murders his morality and takes it upon himself to do what no one else will or can.
anton chigurh
I've always loved Magneto as a character. Even though he was a "bad guy" in the X-Men for the most part, he was doing it for what he perceived to be the greater good of his kind. Whenever greater threats would rear their heads, he would ultimately team up with the X-Men to try and ensure their survival as a whole, which definitely makes him more of an "anti-hero" than a villain in my book.
i used to play pretend x man with my friends and i always picked magneto hands down best Marvel character
@@whatever305j He is always in the top 3 villains of Marvel Comics. It's some configuration of Magneto, Green Goblin, and Doctor Doom as the top 3 villains.
Raul Silva in Skyfall is absolutely incredible. Probably my all time favorite Bond villain.
Heath Ledger (The Joker),he proved that he could take one of the most good and nice people in Gotham and make them evil. Because it's the truth sometimes good guys turn into bad ones.
No.
Yes, because his motive was that the fact that innocence can be broken, means there is no innocence. If there is random injustice, there is no justice (Psychology of the Joker).
Shubham Goel yeah but the reverse also holds true and actually happens quite alot
"You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
Joker has no motivation he does what he does cps it's fun
Syndrome wasn’t justifiable. He was just a brat
Celticsorcerer 1 no. Heartbroken
Celticsorcerer 1 Yeah, when his feelings get hurt he goes off to kill several heroes. You’d think he’d be more grateful if he was told when he was a kid, there was a bomb on his cape and Mr. Incredible kept him from blowing to bits in midair.
I can't believe it took me years to realise that Cypher from The Matrix is Ralph for The Sopranos.
Also one of the Fratelli bros in The Goonies!
So what? It was a f**cking horse!
Where’s Khan?
Khan from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan?
Alberto Arras Ikr
I thought he'd be #1
Which is more frightening: a villain with a streak of humanity or a villain without any humanity to begin with?
Actually I blame his abusive father for his actions.
straburyred the one w no humanity obviously
I 100% agree with Andrew from Chronicle. He's just someone who's simply had enough, he was bullied, had a dad who beat him up and he finally received the strength to do something about it.
I wouldn't say he used his powers for evil. He sees himself as superior because those that wronged him believed they were superior to him. After enduring all that shit for all his life he developed an eye for an eye philosophy.
This movie had a lesson, you keep ratting someones cage they will eventually bite back.
It's a pretty good list, but I would add General Hummel from the rock
Good choice actually...
I'm actually surprised that wasn't on here. He's honestly one of the most sympathetic villains of all time.
I only watched this hoping he would be here
hahaha likewise, now i don't have to watch this video, they fail... haha
Before i watched this video that was the first person that popped into my head
KINDA seeing where they were coming from, and being justifiable seems like two fairly different things.
stfu no
I literally understand Cyphers motives so well, would do exactly the same
#1 should be jigsaw..or whatever his name was..
Reason: he just wanted revenge..from people who hurt someone directly related to him, or that person hurt someone..or themselves..it kinda makes me mad that he wasent in here. He has so many good reasons on why he dose this
Mr. Feet John Kramer was his original name
Cypher does really want to escape the matrix and into the real world. As much as I hated him the minute he showed up, his point is clear.
I see through the lies of the Jedi!!
He wanted to go back in the matrix. The ship was in real life. He wanted his memory wiped out and put back in. Hence why he says ignorance is bliss.
Antonio Reyes true
mike powers nvm what this guy said is TRUE 👈🏻
but he also killed his crew in the process. one by one. almost as if revenge. it's one thing to be selfish but at the cost of others. that betrayal was not justifiable
Depending on their circumstances and reasons I tend to side with villains and antiheros. Because I believe we all can relate in some way.
Recently watched "The Rock" again. It's hard to see Ed Harris' character as anything other than a noble man fighting for the justice of his fallen brothers. Would definitely have included him on this list.
Ozymandias?
Alex Jaidane I was thinking the same thing
Yes same here
dito
“Killing millions!” “...to save billions.”
isn´t the villan of the story
Sheer Khan from The Jungle Book to me is one of the most justifiable villains.
And also Malefincent (in Maleficent, not in The sleeping beauty) :D
Shere Khan is a bully and a coward. In the source material he's held in contempt by the jungle inhabitants. He stalks babies!
Bernardita P. Yep!!
Maleficent was an anti-hero in the movie, not the villain.
Killmonger, Thanos?
Not Thanos... but def Killmonger, and Bane, and Ozzymandias
Comic Thanos totally but not movie Thanos
i think you have that backwards
Charlie Turner yeah no
So you can get behind him killing half the universe because he loves Death but not because he is aware of the eventual self destruction of societies due to a lack of resources?
Nope nope nope...
General Francis Hummel
(Ed Harris) -the Rock
Brandon Harrison ikr
According to TV Tropes this list would be an example of "Anti-Villain", "Villain Has a Point" and "Well-Intentioned Extremist."
That old dude from cloverfield lane
True
Vulture was the most relatable i couldnt even hate him by any reason
Where the hell is Carrie?
Sun Cooper but Carrie was never really the villian
She isn't a villain but she was mentioned during "chronicle" as having similar motives and having a similar moral
Andrew Detmer is on the list, its kinda the same thing so yeah
Carrie is a victim
Even Stephen King himself mentioned that the villains in Carrie were Billy Nolan and Chris Hargensen.
Little Bill Daggett from "Unforgiven." A lawman just trying to prevent his town, where he was building a house and planning to retire, from being overrun by murderers.
Magnetos point of view if flawless.
"Does it ever keep you up at night knowing they'll come for you, and your children?"
Agreed and I loved his qoute in X-Men first class :
"I have been at the mercy of men who were just following orders . Not anymore."
General Frank Hummel from The Rock should be on here.
Good call!
Kept on scrolling and scrolling, I knew someone would’ve mentioned him
Ozymandias from Watchmen anyone?
General Zod - Man of Steel,
Queen Freya - The Huntsman: Winter`s War,
The Grinch - How The Grinch Stole Christmas,
Khan Noonian Singh - Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan,
Loki - the MCU,
Richmond Valentine - Kingsman: The Secret Service,
The Lizard - The Amazing Spider-Man
and Davy Jones - Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man`s Chest.
Thanos accomplished his goal ...
Just wait till the next movie
Thanos took the bait when Dr Strange offered him the trojan horse(mind stone)
Vinny R All that shit gonna be fixed in Avengers 4 😂
Robert Erlandson Dr. Strange gave Thanos the time stone, not the mind stone
Robert Erlandson but the point of the exchange isn't to give him the (time) stone. But to let stark live. Let's see how that plays out
Thanos?
Purple Pirate nah he was a genocidal maniac from the start.
H
I understand him trying to save the universe from resource exhaustion but killing half the universe is so absurd but I guess his motives did make sense
Purple Pirate wtf no he has no good reason
Purple Pirate his only goal is to kill and please death
After watching Snowpiercer a second time I came here thinking I'd see Wilford on the list.
Guess not....
You left out Thanos and 2019's Joker.
hey buddy, this was in 2018 😐
@@junepiie They can always update it or make a second one.
Where was Ozymandias?
The Watchmen had the best villain of all time
I know ,Right? He is not even a Villain in the end, He Saves the World (despite the fact that he killed all those people)
I think that’s what makes him such an effective villain.
He is also self sacrificial. In Doomsday Clock we see that Rorshach's journal prompts an investigation that totally ruins Ozy.
In the end, he did fail though, and is a wanted supervillain, such as he deserves.
no
I like it that Erik Lehnsherr or Magneto is at the top spot.
No killmonger blackpanther
And he never said kill all white people. (Nice try on the narrative tho) he wanted to overthrow governments.
No
The Planet of the Apes franchise actually began back in the 1960s. But yes I do agree that Kobra had good reasons to start a war against humans on the new movies.
Had to hide this video because the thumbnail was too nasty
Dragon Ball Black Are you 13?
Fokkusu Haundo I saw sky fall when I was like 9
Dragon Ball Black lol
for the Random Walking Parents he means lol
Thank You Rutger Hauer💙
Thank You Roy Batty💙
Rip 2019
What about the Phantasm from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm? She wanted to avenge the death of her father by the Valestra mob and (before he was) the Joker.
Not to mention his family actually being slaughtered in front of him, fired from his job and getting ousted from society just because he saved a man from being crushed by a bucket.
Law abiding citizen #1
Daniel Hernandez great example love that movie
God! I love that movie!
I love good villains in movies, because the heroes in movies so often have such a simplistic black and white view of life, which is unrealistic. Real life is so much more complex, and good movie villains embody that complexity. Our desire to see things as simple and to have everything turn out for good is why the hero must always triumph.
Karate Kid, I was Sympathetic to Johnny. Daniel wasn't minding his business.
Karate kid brought me here. I was thinking the same thing. Johnny didn’t even want to beat up Daniel at the beginning of the movie.
Sandman, Spiderman 3. All I wanted was to take care of his poor sick child. He got himself into trouble doing so but no matter what he tried to help her!!! I've watched hundreds of movies with hundreds of villains. Sandman and Hobgoblin were both relatable but Sandman takes the cake. Please please please make a video with him.
Bury me in the ocean with my ancestors that jumped from the ships because they knew death was better than bondage.
the king of cool the ones who jumped have no decendents.
The ones that chosed to live in bondage however have plenty for only the living can breed.
The villain's name in _Skyfall_ was "Silva"? With the British accents, I assumed they were saying "Silver".
I thought vesper lynd's name was Vespa, like the scooters
They probably went with Silva instead of Silvia cause it sounds cool, like Silver they probably think Silva is a cool name because it sounds like silver. But for a Latin American descent, it doesn’t remind me of anything
Ceiling Cat Javier Bardem is spanish, not latin american
Taha Hagar most of Latin America was colonized by the Spanish
Ceiling Cat Again, Javier Bardem is not of Latin America, he is of Spain and he did not colonize Latin America.
Lesson of the video: revenge IS justified...
This is Top 10, not some moralizing crap video. It has no lesson. It only has info about villains who are understandable in case you'd want to find a good movie to watch. Stop trying to look for morales in every last piece of art. Art is not about morality, it's about relating.
@@StormhawkJuzo, btw, yes, I thought of that possibility. Still:
1) you can't blame anyone for not getting sarcasm on RUclips, because there _are_ a lot of people who seriously say things like that here almost under every video.
2) only someone who _thinks_ about X is inclined to _joke_ about X. I'm guessing, it's either you still thinking in terms of 'lessons' when watching something or you encounter people like that a lot and thus think it's a more actual joke than it is.
P. S. Stop answering your own questions on behalf of others, it makes you look obnoxious, not smart.
P. P. S. Now I know who got me arrested, you asshole.
Of all your lists, I think that was probably the best.
Off the top of my head this list was missing. Baron Zemo from Cap America civil war. Killmonger from Black Panther, Pince Nuwala from Hellboy 2, Ozymandias from Watchmen, Gerald Butler from Law abiding citizen,....
Davy Jones from Pirates? Great villain
That is a great one. Doomed by love and controlled by another.
To me he's not even a villain. His entire motivation in Dead Man's Chest is just to make Jack repay his debt to him. Jack cheated him and betrayed their agreement. In At World's End, Jones is pretty much a slave to Beckett and his company, while trying to get justified revenge on Jack and Calypso.
derek mate, nan says its time for tea, cousins are round you need to get home

Bram Stoker's Dracula with humans tricking his wife into thinking that he was dead which led to her taking her own life. Biff being wronged by the McFlys only to find out that Marty has been breaking the laws of physics in order to alter the timeline to benefit his family rather than allowing things to play out as they were meant to, so Biff settles the score by altering the timeline and gets his revenge on the McFly family.
The boy from Chronicles was essentially a school shooter but instead of a gun he had super powers.
Frank Hummel from the movie "The Rock"
Black panther villian because his dad was killed by black panther’s dad
I’m so glad chronicle is on this! Such an underrated film
wee bit late but how about davy jones? jack sparrow didnt pay his debt, he looked after the dead at sea for 10 years for the love of his life, only to find said love to have left him.
The mass murder snydrom is justifiable because he was rejected by his idol? really? o_O
You know what they say: Hell hath no fury like a fanboy scorned.
*I 100% disagree on Syndrome, he wasn't justified AT ALL. Buddy was a fanatic (among likely many) who admired Mr. Incredible above all superheroes and enthusiastically sought to help clearly without thinking the consequences through.*
And yet, he was also a CHILD. Kids being taken under the wing of vigilantes and trained to frequently fight alongside them in conflicts where they could realistically die is only entertaining and/or redeeming in the realm of fiction for a reason.
If Batman & Robin for example did this in a world perceived by the audience (us) as a more grounded take on superhero life/politics, the overwhelming sane majority would look at him and most likely think "WTF is wrong with you?!"
As much as I would've loved to see Robin, Nightwing, or Batgirl in *TDK* trilogy, the fact is, that would've been grossly unrealistic (even for an already outlandish series) and Nolan designed his Batman to be closer to semi-plausible.
4) A world where "everyone's super" would inevitably lead to chaos.*
*Verdict: Syndrome is a petty man-child who squandered his intellect and used his hurt feelings as an excuse to murder.*
stfu no
Syndrome was not justified I don't care what people say he was not ready to be a sidekick like Mr. incredible said which is proved by him almost being killed by a supervillain when a bomb was placed on his cape another reason for the saying no capes.
Obake Senpai Fucking finally someone gets it
Well, Mr. Incredible should've denied it more politely. I'm not justifying Syndrome's actions for wanting to kill every super but it could've been prevented.
Obake Senpai It's not he wasn't ready Mr Incredible didn't want a sidekick period
Sweet Karma Yeah but I'm saying even if he agreed to take on has his side kick he would of been killed fast like two seconds.
I didn’t come up with this, but somebody said “Ultron because he spent 5 minutes on the internet and decided humanity had to go” I meannnnn
Jigsaw?
Killmonger?
Vader
Doctor Octopus?
Jalen Lovemore wtf Vader was not justified he was just a whiny brat who couldn't deal with the realities of life.
Osman Shah Vader wasnt even the Villain,he was mostly a overpowered goon of Sidius.
He killed little kids
sorry my comment wasnt supporting vader,he was gulty for sure, just he was the hand and not the villain of the story.
I wouldn’t really say these are justified motives but understandable ones.
I think y’all need to rewatch the matrix.
Remember the little red pill blue pill scenario?
Sypher chose to be woken up.
Magneto is my favorite Justifiable villain
Dylan Mccracken not even thanos
I was Killmonger's reasoning very close to Magneto's
Where's Killmonger. He should be on the list. He's a very complex villain who's motives you understand and sympathize with.
Kobba was a name that I was hoping I would hear on this list 'cause I felt so bad for him! The thing I feel bad about when it comes to Magneto is that he was literally ripped away from his mother during the war which contributed to his evilness.
i feel a little bit bad for koba but I lost a lot of sympathy for him after he killed a child ape
Sandman, Spiderman 3. If there is one "villian" I can side with and empathize with, it is that man. I'd do the same and more for my daughter.. -Soul Horse
Mr.Freeze?
It’s practically the same as the vulture but darker circumstances
Vince Madarang yep
You've already done this list. Just with a different name
Michael John You must be new to WatchMojo.
I've been watching it for years

Prehaps Top 10 Movies Where You Root For The Villian???
Mandela Effect?
Heath Ledger's "Joker?"
We never really know his reasons, but compared to Batman and the Commissioner, his motives are pure.
Also Khan, as in "Wrath of..." ?
that's why he wasn't on this list because he they never really put up his motives
