Kaizers Orchestra er det beste live bandet jeg noen gang har hørt. Husker jeg så dem første gang streama fra nettet i 2003 eller noe sånn. Var bare 8 år, men visste med engang at dette kom til å bli ett av mine favoritt band.
@TomMolivan How cool!!! I was up in Norway (well, kind of Norway. Svalbard) this summer doing some geologic research. I played "start wearing purple" for one of the Norwegian guys and he told me to look up Kaizers Orchestra when I get home, especially ompa til du dor. I took him up on it and now i fuckin love these guys. Much love to the Norwegians from Omaha, NE USA. I've seen Gogol twice and they are great. Kaizer needs to come to the states. I will certainly be there when they do.
negyms They are not retired, just on an extended break. They'll be back just a question of when, it's likely up to Janove. Helge said in an interview whenever Janove calls he'll be ready, as did Geir Zahl. Janove released an album in 2018 and will likely tour that material this year and probably the next. Then it should be Kaizers time all over again. Summer 2020, book it.
Well, as you know, English speakers are not very fond of foreign languages, so they chances of selling tickets in the States are very slim. We Danes understand practically everything they say.
What I don't understand is that music is universal. You don't have to understand the language to enjoy it...I might just be a weird English speaker though.

If I had the connections to get Kaizers Orchestra to come down and play a show in Australia I totally would.
I was there. Best. Concert. Ever. Apart from Gogol Bordello the same place and Kaizers the same place, but two years later.

Exactly my sentiments! You AREN'T weird. Everybody I introduce to these guy's music loves them, here in the states.
I wish they toured in the states... But then again, they wouldn't sell much. I would SO go, though.
