This is the song about a soldier who went out to the war, left his wife and chilren, fought the war and lost..but before he lost, he wrote a letter home to his wife...and his name was Mr. 170

Janove er en av de få artister eg vet om som ikkje bare er like bra live some i studioversjoner, men faktisk BEDRE live enn studio! Det er en syk prestasjon og tegn om et virkelig talent! Kaizers er best! :D

Helt enig. Jeg hadde faren til Janove som lærer, derfor jeg ble kjent med gruppen. Men når jeg så de live på jærnåttå ble jeg frelst. De er helt rå live 👍

It might be late, but I will add: The reason the soldier's name is 170 is In WW1, the soldiers didn't matter. They were only "material" for the war. Nobody care for the soldier really, he was just another recruit, fit for fight. But like many others, he had a family. But the military did not care, as I said: He was just a war-fare-material, sent out to fight and he died.
How do I know this? I did an analyzis on this song, which went very well but my teacher told me: The only thing missing, is the reality behind this song, a song to honor the nameless soldiers who died fighing for their country. So this is deep.
But with this said: Kaizers Orchestra has to be THE best band you might ever experience live :)
