When he comes to the Czech Republic in the summer and goes to football, he always likes to take pictures, exchange a few sentences, and even pay for beer for the fans. A really great person.

Ok I’m surprised I have to say this.. it’s pronounced like RISHARD (Rocket Richard). I think what was best for Pasta was to have his fellow countryman David Krejci as a mentor. He plays best when he’s on the Czech line with Krejci and Pavel Zacha. I love his Dunkin commercials! 🥰

@@BostonsF1nest yeah NHL is a super high paying sport, but its really not that much compared to other sports. (Cant believe I'm saying that when they still make millions a year to play a sport) Even lots golfers in the PGA right now are making more then 90% of NHL players.

The joker isn't really into cars, he's more into chariots so that might be more expensive sport these days... Lol!
Hockey used to be the working person's blue-collar sport, back when it was fun. He'd be over 12 mil per year with many other teams. Grateful he took a loyalty contract
But these Eastern European players that live in Massachusetts, have to pay so many taxes... Their agents take a cut right off the top. They have to pay a tax in every state and ice arena they play in... And he has to pay taxes to czechia.
He brings home about 30% of what he makes. The taxes he has to pay on the cars in czechia are crazy. So the hundred-thousand-dollar car actually cost him closer to $160,000.
He's rich, but not wealthy
What was interesting was last summer, he gave a radio interview in czechia and it translated as-he's not in the u.s.a. cuz he wants to be an American. He loves his country and his region... He's here for one reason and one reason only-the Stanley cup.
It's too bad this video didn't mention the fact that when he first started scoring after his father died, when he would drop to one knee and blow a kiss to the heavens? That was for his dad... I cannot wait to see his cellie, tribute to his dad, when he finally gets his cup.

I'm still suspicious that's why bertuzzi appeared to come like a bat out of hell, had a lot more spunk than many other players. He never took the poke. Couldn't play in Canada while he was on Detroit Red wings.
I think that's what ended Jonathan toews career, there have been some young healthy athletes keeling over in lower leagues from enlarged hearts and autoimmune disorders.
I'd already gone 12 rounds with the CDC on a tick bite, yeah many of us already know what they're all about - I wasn't stupid enough to be their guinea pig either.

Not a big deal. He probably had one beer too many fell on the ice and hurt his thumb. Live and learn.

We could have gone further into this story talking about how Butch Cassidy almost screwed up his career-left him failing hockey on the top line right after he lost his baby.
The video could have gone on to mention that in the prime of his career, the covid hit and his statistics are actually thwarted compared to what they should be.
But this was a good quick positive video, showing us a bit about who this guy is-we'll actually never know because he's a hockey player and we're simply fans.

A lot of players have lost their kids as infants, wonder why? It's not just him, several others aswell, Erik Karlsson for example..
Unfortunately it's actually fairly common in general. I think we just hear about theirs because they're pro athletes

Medical technology is now going to extraordinary efforts to keep infants & fetuses alive that would not have survived only a decade ago.
The conception and loss of life is so subjective. We always hear about these losses, tragedies - while promoting live birth abortion 🤔

Hey man, i've watched all of your videos and do you actually just don't know what taxes are? You estimate these players net worth on their whole contract value, tax rates for people with million dollar salaries are up to 50% in canada and in the us.
No. I estimate it on about 45-60 percent of their current total earnings to date. Taxes and agents fees account for actually 60% not 50%. And since most of their endorsement deals are private I do my best to estimate. After that I account for what assets they have and subtract the liabilities.

That would make his total earnings from his 7 year career about $60 Million, not including taxes and agent fees. How did you get the number $63 million?

you should see the taxes they have to pay back and Eastern Europe, czechia. Especially now with the wars going on.

It's far beyond my pay grade and I'm into international finances.
There's an awful lot of funny money in the NHL. I'm an original sixer, Bobby Orr fan club member. It's a very different sport.
I've noticed over the past decade or two since we've been able to access information on the internet, that the money, facts, even players' heights- change.
I've tried to do research on how some of these contracts work out. And basically get stonewalled at one point or another where they just go off into generalizations.
Too much funny money going on. We'll never know.

Being on the bruins made him better, don't think he's going to get those type of stats like that, in such a short span of time, again in his career.

There's a huge difference between those two players- one of them wants to play on the bruins very badly, and the other one doesn't want to be there. That's going to affect both of their playing
