Haro was my dream bike growing up. Couldn’t afford it at the time but will have to source the parts to build my own! What an awesome build! Great job! Totally jealous!
I got that same bike for Xmas about 27yrs ago. I begged my parents for a year to get it for Xmas. It was my only gift that year obviously cuz it wasn't cheap. It was stolen a year later and it devastated me. To this day I still think about how upset I was. I always thought id find the bike one day. Never happened. Hopefully I can afford to buy one again the same year and color and give it to my son. Loved the video. Brought back old memories.
Yea old school bashguard bikes were awesome. I currently have a 1990 Sport survivor frame & fork set I found on the side of the street laying against somebodies trash can... narrowly saving it from being crushed in the back of a garbage truck. I used to have two 1989/90 Bully bashguard bikes, but sold them long ago.. want them back again!
This is your best old school build by far. I wasn’t a fan of the parts choice on your earlier freestyle builds but I can tell a lot more effort went into this one. Credit is due! Rad bike
I just stumbled across this channel today. These vids are awesome man. I had a Chrome Dyno Slammer, GT bash guard, Haro Knee savers, Redline 3pc crank and Peregrine 48's back in the day. The whole damn bike was chrome. lol. This takes me back. I love these classic bikes. SUBBED!
OMG my neighbor rode that same bike same color and all. I rode a 91 or 92 orange splatter paint Dyno Comp with GT bolt on bash guard lol crome haro fork with Crome knee savers ACS BOA brakes with crome 48 spokes DK stem, GT tires. Everyone dogged it for being a cheap dyno comp but after the build it was one of the better looking bikes around my small town. God I wish I had it now😕
Beautiful build! I have a soft spot for bashguard bikes. I have a chrome Sport Diet frameset and a Shredder frameset in the back burner that I need to finish. I’ve got both the Zolatone Master and Neon Yellow Sport on pre order
I had one of these, the rear brake is supposed to be flipped so you don't stomp the rear brake cable when standing on the top tube/seat stay stand, mine came with araya 7x rims laced to fusion flip flop hubs, also needs rear brake standers, awesome build. I'm currently working on a 85 SE Quadangle Reynolds 531, I'd like to see your style on one
I like those SE Quadangle bikes. The Ripper isn't very appealing to me, unless it has an insane colorway. From your advice, I now notice that the rear brake does look like it would be in the way with the way it's currently positioned 🤔.
Dang those og handlbars are somethin. The non polished alloy rim looks the part too. I have a 92 shtedder. Youl havto do a bit of digging if you want one of those though . Mines the red/blue one . I used new school parts on mine for function with some retro And used the correct lineage fs bar .
I use WD40 to remove or install my grips. I've been told not to use the product, but I haven't had any issues other than a little cleaning after the oil hits the tile floor in my basement.
You definitely paid a pretty penny for that whip, Mr. Puff Daddy☝️🤓! The one thing I'd change on the total package is the seat. I think the seat you'd usually find on the GT Show would make the bike really pop. Would you happen to have any "Show" builds? That specific GT needs to be reissued ASAP🤦🏽♂️!
I really love these OG frame builds. I have to say though that even though the Haro bash sprocket is an awesome find, isn't it kind of redundant on a bashguard frame? Sorry to nitpick. ps. I had a 91/92? Master frame with screw in peg bosses in the rear dropouts or maybe even the chainstays. Have you ever come across one of these? They seem rare.
Sell. Me. This. One. Bro. Come on. Don't be. Like. That. I. Need. A. Real. BMX. OLD SCHOOL. As. This. One. Guive me. A. Price. Or. Where. Can. I. Get. A. Frame. Like. This one. Thanks nice. Build.

DEFINITELY one of harvester's BEST builds.. no doubt.
I never was into the bash guard bikes back then but i do love this one!
That's a nice bike, great parts too. Was great to watch the build harvester. 👍
You have some of the best builds and I love how you try to keep it period correct. Super job.

I have the same bike,
Keep up the great work
What's the best spray to use on grips I tried hairspray but it won't dry??

@@rgw1380rw 10-4
@@fredbissnette3104 The red straw on the can is rather easy to work in between the grip and handlebar.
You can use compressed air to remove and install grips.
Rubbing alcohol, wet so it slides on then it evaporates
What is the color codw for this neon yellow?? Any RAL code??
Thanks
Where can I buy one if the vintage BMX bikes? I need one in my life.
Dig it. Pretty dope! 👌🔥
How buyer buy frame bmx haro to Indonesia (Jakarta/Bali)

Love the build next time lightly heat gun the bash guard to get rid of the rash trust it works on the old plastic seats too.
Where can I buy these decal set?
What do you spray into the grips for installation?
Use wd 40
how heavy ?
I really love these OG frame builds.

very very rare!
Súper guerrera😁👍
The blue caps did it for me, sick bike. Do an fs-1 😂
I like it a lot.
love bike
Is that an OEM color?
Sick
Beat is ridiculous, bike is raw as fuck.
My favorite so far. Sexy bike.
Hello I am looking for stickers for my BASHGUARD from 1993 would you have an address to advise me?
Never got into the bash guard era..
They must be tanks
Not sure why Haro would have sold these in 92. Hoffman and Moliterno were breaking those frames constantly in 90/91 before they left Haro.
Wooooowww
Still thinks it needs some pegs. Maybe go a lil newer, 3.5"dia chromes, not the rail masters tho. Too new.
Hey men gooood

You must have 3k 🇨🇦 into that bike 😱
