One of my big pet peeves on freestyle builds is when people angle the lower Gyro cable. The fact you run the lower Gyro cables nice and vertical makes me go, "Yeah, I don't need to see anything else. This guy knows what he's doing." 👍
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Fantastic work!!! Loving the laid back approach on the decals with that I mean boom there straight on no fuss no messing! Look forward to your next episode!! 🤘🏻🏴
My buddy had a light blue one when they came out originally..was the hottest shiz at the time. We would do endos by grabbing the back of the seet then hit the front brake turn the bars a hard 45 an flex that Skyway like a taco ... Aaahhh man memories..
Awesome bike. Love the Dayglo Pink. I can’t wait to purchase one from you in the near future. Update: Just purchased a 1987 Dayglo Pink GT Pro freestyle Tour from Mike and can’t wait to get it. It’s going to be Awesome and Bring back so many wonderful Childhood memories.
Great Video! I'm getting ready to start a 1987 GT Profreestyle build. Where did you get the replacement decal set for the bike? I've seen some sets online but they don't look as authentic as the set you used on this build.
Thanks for this vid hope all is well! Mike can you hookup the Powder code for this bike? I got mines powdered dayglo pink but it came out lighter than this one code: 30075
Do you guys sell the 2 tone chain? I can't find one for my 87 PFT I'm restoring. Also, how much is one of these bikes. As I'm finishing my restoration I'm realizing that I'm not going to want to ride it. I got it for christmas in 1987 and Its going to be mostly OG. But I do want to ride, so I'm thinking of either building another, or buying a complete like this.
best bmx bikes of all time other than my leary turbo, nothing compared to my 83ish pro racer , not even my HUTCH also had all white 84 prfmr which i sold after a month of ownership for a mere 200 bucks , ouch . i prefered racers , by far nobody fore saw the future which is why , among other thangs , theyve skyrocketed in value
So 80's, love it.

Very Nice. Is your shop in Houston?
Awesome
When you install the cranks, do you include the spindle spacer? Some people say it needs to be cut shorter (perhaps down to 49mm). Do you do this?
Always hold it in the middle of bearing cups underneath the bb, then trim it till it fits snug. Then install.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
i would love to have a john deere painted one..green frame with yellow accents
Why didn’t you use the reproduction lower cable from Pork-chop?

I see one on the website, so never mind about the pricing. Good stuff. Still wondering about the chain though, as I can only find all white ones.
Do you have a 88 gt performer full bike or frameset that I can purchase? Or even a gt vertigo st
Do you have any parts for a 1987 pro freestyle tour bike?
Where can I get an original decal set for an 87 Performer? Got a Blue one in near mint condition except for a couple of stickers..
Is there a powder coat code for this color?
Where are you located?

How much is the frame?
what would this cost the buyer out the door?
If interested send email. mike@fatlipusa.com
How much?
What happened? Stopped making videos?
Still making videos, just been super busy with work. New video of J Cole’s bike just dropped.
This is work i would do for free
That bike needs 48s
Chrome or nothing. Pink looked bad in the 80s and looks even more embarrassing now.
I prefer the '88 model in black. And with a pink seat. It's a Kev Jones thang.
