Lights on the roof rack are great. I've got them on mine as well. Excellent install video as always!
Thank you!
I slept under those rock lights! It was very soothing
Ha, yes Loki. You were out like a "light" that night
Aww, I'd love to see a picture of that!
@@jsg7594 I have pictures of him under the awning in the rain and all cuddled up
Adapt, improvise, overcome. Nice work!
Thank you. I was a bit worried at first, but we got it figured out
Love the amber lights under the awning!
Me too. I thought I was going to like the white ones better but I was wrong
I will say the use of the EZ Up is a terrific idea. it's too hot here and that sun is too harsh.
Agreed. It saved us from rain a few times also 😁
I saw you on the 101 yesterday and had to check out the channel.
Cool, welcome! Whereabouts?
@@AZOverland2017 it was shortly after the 17 heading west. I was in a jl wrangler on 40s.
@@truaxoffroad Ha, I pointed your ride out to my wife after seeing those monsters. Sweet Jeep brother.
@@AZOverland2017 thank you!
Awesome video. Thank you.
My light bar is 420W on my 12V truck battery. Thats about 35 amps. The max amps the switch panel is 30 amps. Is there a solution to this? Your advice is greatly appreciated. 🙏
Thank you. You will most likely need to find a different switch panel with a higher capacity. I know Switch Pros would work but it's quite costly and more involved. Contact some companies and see what's available. Auxbeam, Nilight Lasfit, etc
@@AZOverland2017 Just thinking out loud, would a 40 amp relay work if placed between the light bar and fuse panel?
@@offroad_adventures2934 Most light accessories come with a harness that includes the proper relay and some sort of switch. If I already had a switch panel with fuses that were not rated to hand a particular light, I would use the harness that came with the light and run the switch wiring through the firewall and replace the switch that came with the kit with a nice aftermarket OEM style switch. I know you probably want to run everything off 1 switch panel, but you need to have it fuse protected correctly. You may need to just bypass the Panel with this one
Those wire hiders are sweet. Where do you get them?
I put them in the Description of the video, but here you go:

Great video! Looking to install these on my Taco for late night lighting. Any idea if it would battery drain if left on for a couple hours? Or any ideas or tips? Thanks !
Thank you. The draw is minimal if you are able to tap into an ACC source instead of an ON source. It shouldn't be a problem if that is done. I always have a " what if" scenario plan though. If the battery drains where I can't start the car, I always keep a portable and fully charged jump starter under the seat.
nice set up. hi, i notice that you have 2 hard case on your roof rack...ho is the wind noise when cruising on the highway...i am planning to install same thing..tnx
Thank you. The wind noise is minimal. However, there are a few factors to consider.
When I am on the highway if I'm driving through crosswinds, it is definitely noticeable. Mine are set pretty far back. I would think if you have a full rack and mount them closer to the front it would affect noise levels. Also, I usually drive with my music pretty loud, especially with this new head unit installed, so that certainly drowns out any remaining increase on sound 😁
Overall, I would say the noise isn't intrusive to me
I'm surprised the wires weren't long enough
Me too. I haven't seen anyone run into this issue yet. Glad I found extensions though.
