Until Syntakt gets an Arp, if it ever does (please Dear Lord Jesus please!!), then this is a great way for me to easily record in some arpeggiations into the Syntakt. Based. Great video, thank you for this!
OOH! I totally had that thought: "Why would anyone even want to do that?". Then I Immediately felt stupid because you thought of multiple great reasons lol. Velocity sensitivity and 3 octave riffs without editing, here we come 👏 Thanks so much!
Im sending midi notes via overbridge in ableton to my analog rytm. My problem is that the midi notes just trigger the notes and have a fixed length no matter how long the notes are. How can I control the trigger length of the rytm via Ableton? I cant find a solution, I read that i have to use a midi-cc but that doesnt work.
Very good video. It might also be useful to know that auto channel does not work when overbridge is activated. I've just bought a Syntakt, and I'm gutted as being able to record midi notes into the syntakt sequencer from my Push 2 was going to be a big part of my workflow. I'm now wondering if getting an extra midi keyboard with 5 pin din and plugging differently into the syntakt will be a workaround for me. Thanks anyway 🔥
Hi there. Thanks for watching and for sharing. I'll check again when in studio but I am pretty sure you can still benefit from using Push 2 with Syntakt using USB midi while disabling overbridge -- if you want.
@SkyDeep hi Yes you are 100% correct. It's an OK workaround but it's unfortunate as I was really hoping to do it whilst having overbridge enabled. It's not the end of the world, it just means having to enable/disable overbridge as part of a workflow. One approach might be to create something on the Syntakt (using push 2) without overbridge enabled and then switch Overbridge on when you're done. Thanks again
It has twelve voices, just dedicate more than one track using the same machine(s), copy/paste the same midi pattern to each track, transpose one to higher note, now it’s polyphonic
External Instrument module saved me, thank you!:)

Yes! This really opens up that possibility for now. I would love to see an arpeggiator function in Syntakt one day though.
Great walkthrough, thank you!
you rock
I appreciate to see a relaxed tutorial where someone is not demoing by pressing keys like a brain dead thinking it's a live performance 👍

Hi thanks for watching and for the feedback! Wishing you all the fun while doing your thing!

Nice! Really hoping for some sort of polyphonic option in the future with syntakt, but this was really useful to watch still, thanks for sharing!
