Interesting 😀👍. Im currently recording working on my album. Please help me. I need your support. Can you listen to a song of my? I play keyboard, music composer. Will send you the audio track. My email suazorecords@gmail.com
He actually broke it on the song he performed before this one and by the looks, he thought he was done until he decided to restring onstage :) But definitely a nice touch!!!
Boooaaah! I think Jeff would spread his arms when listening from whereever he is! RIP; Jeff! Such a tasteful hommage to that beautiful song, thx to the funtastic band!! THIS is a unique 4-tet indeed, professionell in every second. I love this tune meanwhile as the original! The bassman is a sledgehammer, what a playing and sound!!
Très belle version de cet titre d'une énorme sensualité à mon sens, avec un solo de basse puis de guitare magnifiques, super mis en valeur par le batteur vraiment top! J'adore ce quartet de Tom.
Truly absolutely...... genius talented group.... all of them are the bright future of jazz music as the precious replacements for those who grow older.... like Larry, Lee Ritnour, Jeff Beck, Clapton, Frank Gambel... and many others... these members all got their own ways superior EXCELLENT skills. ... applaud !!!!
I am so glad I hung in there,... Wow! Tom has amazing technique and dynamics! My heart was breaking seeing him changing a string prior to the song,... for any of you that have played out live, there is nothing worse than that feeling... good grief! He introduced the song with such precision. Holy, Bass Solo! Great video to have on RUclips!
I am a "B" series guitar player, but I always have two guitars at my gigs; just in case I break a string, as I know the audience will have very little patience with interruptions. Not withstanding the owner of the place telling us that we will not be welcome a next time. Such is life... but I believe Tom Ibarra could leave for a bathroom break in the middle of a solo without having anybody getting irate.
Awesome playing by everyone- the electric guitar and that fretless bass has an amazing tone… the keyboards, wow. Yeah, these are all fantastic musicians giving this tune a great rendition… definitely an emotional trip like Pat Metheny taking you up to the heavens!
Now this whole group is tight and responsive to each other. Amazing arrangement of this song. The drummer was very sensitive and used excellent sound dynamics as well as the keyboard musician. Each member of this group is a great player as an individual, but more importantly was how they allowed breathing room for each other and for the song itself. They were so relaxed and just let it flow out. Wow, amazing how it all flowed together.
I was just about to say 'bass player stole the show' and then at 10 minutes fireworks started. This is the first time I've heard Tom. It sounds like there's a Bireli Lagrene influence in his playing. Un chef-d'oeuvre, Merci beaucoup.
Love the long intro... For me the bass steals the show. Great tone and musicality without being flashy. Jaco Pastorius would be smiling down on this disciple...
Instantly apparent, like after just a few notes, this guy (and band) is pumping a Beck level of special rendition here. Would do Syreeta, Wonder, and Beck proud
B string changed and guitar tuned : 03:50
Fretless bass solo : 06:16
Guitar solo : 09:05
Looks like there are frets on the bass. You mean dot-less?
@@CranberryDeath it is indeed a fretless bass.
@@IvanMahyaDeva ---most definitely ... anyone with experience with one should be able to tell. Le gentleman does very well with it too.

@@Myaccountishacked Hello David. You can contact Tom on his Facebook page.
LOVE THOSE BASS LICKS !!! JUST MIGHT STEAL A FEW !!!! WELL DONE !!
Never thought of stringing my guitar as an intro. Nice touch.

Get on with it bro
@@bevisjohnson6127 Hahah ok ok i will...
Didn't mean to say that but after the passing of Jeff Beck I was searching quickly for the best covers right from the start
@@bevisjohnson6127 So true!!!
It's nice when someone can shred without losing the musicality. The whole band is excellent and sympathetic to everyone.

Inspiring. The love these musicians have for the music shines radiantly through.
My face just melted. I don’t know what’s real anymore.

Incredible version of this great track,
Superb musicians all,
The bassist is just amazing I love his tone and his virtuosity 👍
Add to that . Yes
Awesome guys!
Beautiful articulate expressive. Loving the super clean JC120... my fave amp from waybackwhen.
During that gig, Tom was using the Jazz Chorus 50 of the club, but I recorded his guitar in D.I.
Tom is now a DV Mark endorsee.
SO SMOOTH... AMAZING
one of the better bass solos that I've heard. I really dig the vibe you guys get on this track!
Superbe! Salut de Montréal!
Great job Tom.. wow!!!! Amazing!!!!!
Very Nice Tom, impressive.

liked the weather report during the bass solo! Great performance, catches the original spirit very well
The song is called "A remark you made"
Loved the beatiful melodic reference to " A remark you made" at 7:16
Oh ouiiii !!!!❤ excellent

Wow, that was beyond great, truly other worldly in a higher dimension.
Great rendition .. the drummers technique and feel is brilliant!

Ibarra is from the South West of France. I am guessing, from the name, that he is of Basque origin.
@@p6x2 South West...
@@Photoregard lol.... silly me.... I got confused. And when you think I spent time in Basque country...
You say that as if Lagrene was something more that just a fast player... (whom nobody'd remember wasn't for Jaco, btw)
Beautiful playing by everyone.
hats off to the bassist! he can play a mean solo
Very Good 🙂😊
i like the weather report quote in that bass solo!
what a bassist!
So good, it almost hurts.
Awesome1
awesome
Bravo
Drummer kills this, excellent.
Lovin that bass players chops!! Nice job guys!!
Great performance 💙😀👍
Just love it... including tuning the Ibanez....
I think I saw a lot of influence from Pat Matheny! This “kid” is really, really good!
I was falling asleep with this performance....Thank God for the bass player....
they should change it to "name of bass player quartet"
The fretless bass break was sick. Very cool
I think he quoted Jaco (A Remark You Made) at one point.
Quelle bonne basse, quels beaux phrasés.
Quelle interprétation!!! Magique
Grace à la corde de si ont à droit à une intro kool merci Tom
I loved every second of that.
Ottimo sound bravissimi
Such a great tone!
Awesome, totally awesome.
Great guitar tone!
nice version! thanks!
Bro is killing those keys 🎹🙌🏾
I enjoyed every note of that. If I find it in mp3 I'm getting it.
voila des musiciens ! pas des types qui font de la musique ! des musiciens des vrais !
bien cette video !
Shawn Lane used to retune and restring mid gig all the time. It's just part of the show man. You guys are dope as hell, big ups.
SIMPLEMENT MAGNIFIQUE !..
a big Bravo
Wow...wow...
Wow. Nice citation of Jaco in the bass solo. 👏👏👏
This came up in my feed, and I had to see who was playing. It’s so good and tastefully balanced between the three of you. Great work!
Jaco would approve of his fretless playing! Great playing by all.
Wow. He even has the Jaco thumb. Amazing
spectacular,great !!!~!~!
Great playing!

Magnifique. Bravo !!!! Excellent guitarists aux 15 ans !!!!
Very nice. Liked the bassist's nod to Weather Report.
7:16 Fantastic
The bassist does a bit of "A remark you made"-by Weather Report-in his solo spot- cool...

This is insane.
Great playing, esp the bass player. Nice
Cool job on the Fretless!
