My favorite play day. Not many people understand collecting but the part where you talk about learning to play and how you never forget it sums it up perfectly. I could have the worst day ever but holding your favorite toy of all time(or of that week 😂) really helps you get through the mud. Love you Robo!
I loved this Play Day! I bought that SNAKE right after watching this and still love that item. Also, "You can never have enough plays, and you can never have enough days" kind of sounded like a good tagline to me!
Earlier this year my oldest friend gave me a very nice vintage Mutt and Junkyard set, which were amongst my favorites as a child. I nearly welled up a bit from nostalgia, because I hadn't seen this version of them in decades. Made me even more excited for the upcoming Classified set. I quite liked your Nightcrawler head, the dark shadows around the eyes and the thick blue streaks through the hair are some major Nightcrawler beats for me.
Genuinely enjoying the reruns, it's like a nice little look back on the year as it comes to a close. But I'm *really* excited for the new stuff! Especially if we get the first episode of the new Weekly for Christmas!
This PlayDay is pulling at my nostalgia strings hardcore… All that talk about being down on the carpet with your Grayskull open, with all the usual suspects, and some no-name randoms stopping by, took a born-in-81 kid like me back….It’s a beautiful thing, and Robo definitely knows that. Thanks & ☮️
Like many of us on here, I had the same Zarak experience as a kid (and the same nostalgia flash seeing him now)... As a kid, I mostly remember him in a bin with my Joes always holding a bigass dagger and never actually playing with him but always sifting past him in the bin 😂
I remember as a kid putting my only Cobra trooper inside the SNAKE armor and after doing the head count before storing my toys one was missing (it was the trooper inside the armor) and i remember feeling so bum i lost it... until the next day i played again and found it there 😅
Haha, my biggest memories of the armor is trying to keep the legs on. Maybe that was after I wore out the pegs but For some reason I flash to character wearing the top half but not the bottom, haha.
Half-tempted to get that '97 Bishop and do the head-swap you showed off since it looks pretty damn great, but I also feel like there's a really good chance Hasbro will release a classic comic version at some point since they went to the bother of sculpting his poofy pants pouch-thingies.
Yeah, those are oddly specific to just Bishop so there's gotta me more Bishop on the way. Unless they are planning Malcolm and Randall, but I don't see that happening. Maybe. Probably not. Perhaps?

Some people have big heads. Kids called me melon head in 6th grade because my body wasn’t keeping up. Very excited to see more customs by Robo….. Also, cheers to Robo for going his own way. This is not a drastic change (at least play day wise) Thanks for keeping it real!
I may not have the No Way Home 3 pack but to me I did got the last single carded No Way Home Tobey Maguire Spider-Man which Robo made me get him because he is one cool guy with great ideas and of course I waited patiently for the 3 amazing unmasked Peter Parker heads which Hasbro nailed in my opinion, Very fantastic video Robo.
When you described laying on the carpet with your he-men, transformers, and orange and green motorcycle men all around I got hit with a total blast of euphoria and nostalgia. So wonderful....now I'm old as dirt, but love collecting action figures nonetheless. I was gonna ask if any 80's kids or anyone really can remember playing on the ol' carpet with your new G.I. Joes or whatever new thing you got for Christmas while waiting for the ball to drop on New Year's as a kid?

I used a spare Mezco Constantine head for Chuckles. Also a bit too big but looks super fun especially with the smoking cigarette he comes with.
